As the gargoyles circle and slash at him, he remains untouched, the axes glancing off his hovering cloudstuff shield. Amidst his defensive maneuvering, his poleax lanced out, jabbing at one of the gargoyles' midsections with its broad point, striking to wound and repel the attack...
