It depends on whether I'm playing or GMing. I haven't had the time for GM for a few years; when I GM, I can run just about anything that people are interested in.

As a player, I like being expressive with high-powered characters who are important in their game worlds in some way or just unusual. Like dragons or giants, for the purely unusual part, or a queen for example (as opposed to the typical disinherited 27th child of a baron). To play a character whose decisions are meaningful, whose perspective is very unusual, or both.
