Hello one and all

Hey there, I'm Stefan from the UK.

Long time gamer in all forms, with a few forays in to PbP with friends half a decade ago. I enjoyed it, but it petered in to the sand with all of us being busy reproducing and taking care of the offspring ;)

Having some more time in my hands now, I was thinking of branching in to roll20 games, but then I heard Rohit on the modifier podcast and he sold me on coming here instead :)

Game wise I would love to try my hand on some FFG starwars. It's a great system that we love in my game group, sadly noone else but me dares GM it so I've not had a chance to try it from the players side :(

Enough waffling on from me, I hope to get to know people here better over the next long time.

Welcome Stefan! Mind you, gaming on Roll20 vs PbP are entirely different experiences; Roll20 is much closer to a tabletop experience. That said, I'm glad to have you with us. Star Wars FFG is reasonably popular here, so though it might take a bit, I'm sure you'll find a game you like.

As it happens, just yesterday we were discussing finding new players for a SWFFG game. You may be able to PM the GM, the aptly named starwarsrpggm.

I will also be looking for new players for my own AoR game, but probably not for a month or so. After the current mission is complete (the gang need to break into CorSec HQ and steal some evidence).

Thanks for all the welcomes, and I am prepared for the different (slower, but more thought out) approach that PbP offers.

I think I found the game you were talking about flucklichtkeiten (wow, that's hard to pronounce even for a Dane), I will check that out over the weekend. Thanks.
