Let's codify things we don't want to see. This post will contain the master list, so feel free to add to it via posting below.

VEILS:

Personally, the only lines I have are characters with obvious prejudice and hate along lines of gender, orientation, ethnicity, culture, etc. And characters who hold those beliefs are villains, in my book and would be represented as such. Though honestly I prefer not to engage those aspects in any game I host.

Viels for me are scenes of explicit romantic intimacy. I'm a huge Anne Rice and I'm not squeamish when it comes to romantic vampires. But fading to black is appropriate at a point in ttrpg 😆

I agree...a fade to black is going to be a necessary tool in a Vampire game. As for me the only lines that I really have would be violence towards children. Granted, we are playing Vampires so there's a certain level of violence that's guaranteed, but not to kids.

I agree. I do not know yet what will be too much. Would it be ok if I was able to just say at the time?

Yes always open to immediate feedback and adjustments no questions asked.

Lines:
* Graphic violence against children

Veils:
* Same as above for explicit romantic scenes (like, totally have them but the magic of fade to black is a good thing lol)
* Sexual assault - I know it's a hook some people like to use for shock value. It falls between a line and a veil for me depending how its handled so I will lean to veil on this one.

I think that's mostly it 😊 with VTM you know you're gonna see some horrible stuff haha

I concur with PinkLipstick's L&V's.
