Michel Angelo
Travel through the Sword Coast as a wanderer decided to make a stop to learn some illusion magic from Loa Hatt, a tiefling illusionist. He just realized that magical illusions isn't sufficient to make good money in entertainment business and looking forward to adventuring business.
He was actually inspired by a single sentence he hear in an inn by person who pretend to be a prominent wizard at Acquisitions Incorporated:
Quote:
No wizard will ever take offense to a polite round of applause from the rest of the party after a particularly well-crafted spell.

Ooh, an Aasimar! I was considering Tiefling, but that might now be a bit too cliche. Hmm, back to the drawing board.
Sep 17, 2022 5:27 pm
Well. Yeah. Von Selema plays Human, but your right she is Aasimar. And to be more exact. A Fallen Aasimar and took just a bit of cursing for being such. Go for a Tiefling if you want. I don't see any cross turf. Just another outsider.

Those cute angel like wings are black and fairly much useless (Cosmetic). Might be good for swatting flies. They just make backpacks impossible and smiles. armor and clothing custom made and expensive.

People spit on my kind. Call us cursed for our fiendish blood.
Expect us to be murderers, cultists or whatever spawn of evil their minds can conjure.
Some of my kind work hard to prove them wrong.
I don't bother. To the pits with all of them.
If they won't give me a fair chance, I'll be everything they hate, and more.

OOC:
It can be so hard to find good art when you want someone simple and unremarkable, who looks like a commoner without looking destitute.

Ryel is a young man who started studying smithing at a young age, hoping to make a good enough living to live comfortably. Nothing extravegant or lavish, just clean clothes in good repair, a clean home in good repair, and good food.

Along the way, he realized many people -- no matter how hard they worked -- would never be able to lift themselves out of where they were in life. He saw people living in squalor, hungry, struggling to get by. He saw others who wanted for nothing -- many of whom never truly worked for what they had.

Ryel decided food on the tables of the poor was more important than coins in the coffers of the wealthy, and decided to help who he could, even if laws would not look kindly on his actions... because good people don't let others suffer if they can help it.

Ryel started trying to study magic, seeing it as supremely useful... both for his business, and for his greater goals. But... he just wasn't good at it. He learned a little, even enough to summon an... owl?... to his side, but he wasn't truly getting it. The books overwhelmed him, the words devolving into a jumbled mess in his mind. So, when the shadows late one night on his walk home offered him a quicker path, he siezed it.

Actually never had issues finding good female Tiefling art when I've needed some. There's plenty of T&A, sure, but lots of other stuff exists.

The problem with finding "average" character art is, everyone tends to exagerate... commoners are barefoot with tattered rags as clothes, to emphasize being poor. Rogues look like they're either Assassin's Creed characters or hollywood pirates. Guild artisans or merchants are fat, old, and dressed like royalty to emphasize their wealth. It's largely because everyone wants their character to stand out.

But when you want your character to just look like an average cityfolk? D&D doesn't do "average."

Von Selema lives a comfy lifestyle so being a "By Popular Demand" she gets paid well. And love songs are definitely not the type of songs she plays on her fiddle and sings. That is going to be Expensive! She is rather Gothic as well. Smiles. Doubt a good home spun girl is probably not in the establishments that Von Selema plays in either. Just say Von Selema circulates in the lowest parts of Waterdeep where the norm don't go.

Edit: Looks to see how plump Auras money pouch is....Assuming she hasn't been already pick pocketed....

For some reason Agnor always liked humans. While they had short lives they seemed to accomplish so much. Some had quiet life, some more dangerous ones.

His latest friend liked to take risks and so she and Aegnor ran petty scams and made themselves live a somewhat confortable life.

All that changed when one of their breakn in turned bad which cost his friends life. In her last breath she handed a mysterious book to Aegnor and whispered a single word... "Skullport".

Aegnor was surprise by this as he had never seen that book before. Not able to decypher anything from it he travelled to Skullport hoping to find a meaning to this.
