Sadly there is a difference between a bonfire (a big fire) and a bonfire (a coven sword staved into undead bones and em minuting divine warmth) nice try though.

I will be traveling for 3 days back home. I will not have internet for that time. ( GM you can have control of my pc in order to advance the story, I embrace the consequences.)

Ok, we're about to enter a combat scene so I expect the pace to slow down a bit, you shouldn't miss too much.

I've rolled a 1, 7 and 3 so far. Things are looking grim ha

Ah, YOU DIED. The corner stone of any darksouls experience....

By the way, while resting at a bonfire you can examine any item in your inventory to receive information about it. You can do this away from bonfires but I will require relevant checks. I'm going to be pretty libral with magic items in this game (after all, this is a pretty hard game...), though you Akmo got really lucky with his first ever loot roll!

Few questions: How long after death do you revive at a bonfire? And since you regain hit points do you also regain spell slots? Now that I've died and have my hp halves do I know what humanity is and that I need to consume it to regain my hp or do I need to find that out in game?

It probably is on the order of minutes that you will need to wait to to return to life. You would probably know that you need to find some humanity to reverse hollowing, unless you want to play it differently. Consider dying a long rest.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was also curious about what happens to the body when it dies. Like if we kill someone does their body and items disappear or is that mechanic more for the pc's?

The bodies of your enemies turns to ash and embers when they perish. But there is a chance they will leave loot behind.

I will also be doing the enemies reset after rests and deaths (but not traps)

Sorry guys, really dropped the ball on this one. I promise to be more vigilant now that I'm over my flu.

Glad to read that. I am alive and ready to fight again. Sorry for my disappearance.
