Ooc: Leland is fine for now, but for future reference, I understand LUCK, but how does PUSH work?

[ +- ] Pushing skill checks

Seeing the remains, Harmon looks at the area, hoping that either the bodies or any object around then could give any information.
OOC:
i will use my luck to pass the check.

Harmon crouches next to Percival and examines the clothing. Those without manacles seem to be dressed in Colonial era clothes.
OOC:
Can I have Spot Hidden rolls and Navigate from everyone please.

Gregory also looks around, trying to determine where he is and what he can notice.

Dr. Cross looks around, the light from his helmet sweeping across the others as he tries to determine where to head next.

Edit: I'll spend the luck for the Spot Hidden check. 3 points it is.

Save your luck Percival, Gregory found it

Gregory spots something on the ground, a fresh cigarette butt. Turkish...
Oct 31, 2022 2:44 am
"Hmm. Gentlemen, it certainly appears we have proof that Joshua--or someone who smokes Turkish cigarettes--was very recently here. I suggest we continue along the path... but I worry that I do not see which direction he may have went. Shall we proceed onward?"

I hope that is good news. Unfortunately,
we have hit a bit of a snag. You see those bodies over there. The ones without the monocles.
Harmon points to the bodies. Those cloths are from the colonial era. Given they were being worn when the bodies died, and the remarkable condition that they are in... given the circumstances, it is safe to assume that these bodies hail from long before the events we read about.

Harmon will spend some time appraising the clothing. Does it seem like it was made of high quality cloth? How damaged is it? How much would it sell for?

"Interesting," Leland says, scribbling notes furiously into his notebook. "Interesting, indeed."
He looks up from his writing and glances further along down the passageway. Closing the notebook he steps forward and studies the area trying to get an idea of which way their friend might have gone.

We can't leave this poor wretched without a tomb, as soon as we found Joshua we will have to dig them a proper burial.

And Max tries to find some tracks or indication of Joshua's direction.

The clothes are not high quality, and with the tears and blood stains, probably not worth a great deal, except to a museum.
OOC:
Leland and Max find no sign of tracks.

Still waiting on some Navigate rolls for anyone that hasn't already tried.

Leland doubles his effort in searching for anything, any kind of sign as to where Josh may have gone.
"There must be something here that we are missing," he muses.

Our first critical!
Ooc: Uh oh!?! That doesn't sound good!

OOC:
It's great! A natural one always gets the best result, especially in combat. Unfortunately in this case there's not much to learn.
Leland looks around and gets a feeling for exactly where you in relation to the overground. The western passage will take you in the direction of the river, maybe half a mile away.. He also spots another, very faint footprint heading inside the southern tunnel.
Nov 1, 2022 8:04 pm
"Ah ha!" Leland calls out triumphantly. "I know exactly where we are." He nods his head, indicating the western passageway. "That way leads to the river, about half a mile away I should say." He turns his attention to the southern tunnel.
"And here," he says, moving a short ways down the southern tunnel. He points a long boney finger to a spot on the ground. "I do believe that is a footprint."
He turns back to face the others. "The mystery deepens gentlemen."
Nov 1, 2022 8:28 pm
Max gives Leland a strange look

Where in heavens do you see that the plot thicken? You just found a footprint of Joshua. On the contrary we will soon find him, we do not know when he passed here, but we are in the right direction. Cheers for Leland !

And again he loudly cries to the given direction

Joshua !

Following Leland's tracking, Gregory claps the man on the shoulder.

"Good show, sir. But this dead body concerns me, for are we not likely to find the spirits of the dead haunting such a place?"

He chuckles, it sounds hollow in the cavern. "I do wish Joshua had not made his way down here alone..."
