"Yu-yu-you!" Leland cries out suddenly hysteric and on the verge of tears. He points a trembling finger toward Harmon and the creature. His eyes go wide with terror. He begins shaking his head in disbelief. "No, no, noooo!" he cries out again in anguish before turning and bolting back down the hallway.

Pablo pulls out his night stick and rushes toward Harmon and the thing that pulled him. He strikes out, aiming for the creature's arm, hoping to strike and loosen it's grip.

oh, extreme success! Does that do anything in this case?Also, technically if that was a called shot to the arm, feel free to penalize me. Not sure how that works in CoC

That's been hotly debated but there're statistical reasons Chaosium made it that way. Not confusing once you've done it a few times.
