The Darkness Beneath the Hill

Leland, staring in horror at the pods, hardly notices when Gregory crashes to the ground in a dead faint. Until he realizes that he no longer has his "crutch" and begins to wobble and struggle to stay upright. "Gregory?" he says to his friend. Then without even realizing it, he looks back to the pods and looses himself staring at them again, friend forgotten.

Realizing that many of his compatriots are completely lost in the moment, Percival will grit his teeth and do his best to watch for any signs of threat.

Seeing the opened pod, Harmon will try and search the room for evidence of the creature. "I don't like this room. We should get away from here as soon as we can."

"Gents, to arms. Those of us who can must protect the rest of us, but I believe we have company coming!" Percival will move around, trying to use something solid as cover so he isn't just out in the open while (ideally) still being near the group.

(If there he can't find any cover near the party, he'd rather stay near the others.)

Harmon will follow Percival's command with a nod. He wi move to the other side of the manic party members ace will shoot any creature that he sees.

Pablo pulls out his blackjack, whispering to himself, "The door may be a way out, we're too close...", and swings at the nearest impending creature

"Dammit... Harmon, do you want to get Pablo or shall I?"

Leland shakes his head as if coming out of a dream. His eyes wander from the pod lizards and then move to take in the rest of the room trying to get his bearings, to comprehend what is happening, eyes eventually coming to rest on the collapsed form of Gregory. "My God," he cries out at the sight of his friend passed out on the ground next to him. "Gregory, he hisses. "Gregory, get up. He reaches down and begins shaking his friend. "Gregory..."
