The Darkness Beneath the Hill

"Don't worry, I will go. Keep an eye out for more of these creators."

Harmon races toward the sound of combat, ready to shoot the first creator he sees.

"Back to whence ye came vile beast!" as he swings at the second creature.

Harmon skids to a stop at the sight in front of him. The plan in his head momentarily forgotten. He nutters to himself, "what is all of this? What kind of cruel experiments is this thing conducting?"

After a moment he gets his wits together and aims his gun. Whatever that thing is doing, he has no intention of letting it finish.

I will use some luck to make the shot hit.

Pablo barely has time to register the billy club cracking and felling the second creature, as his own mind cracks in a different way, and he falls to the ground. He tries to get back up but cannot move. Taking a moment to focus, he realizes he can't feel anything below his waist. "My legs!" he spits at the lizard creature, "What have you done to them?!"
