Pablo embraces Josh's hand with his. He doesn't notice the tears building until one streams down his face. "Indeed friend, it is. And the rest are here too. We went searching for you and got into quite the pickle. We need to get you out of this forsaken place, and quickly. Are you hurt?"

Hearing the cries of his friends upon finding Josh, Leland pulls his eyes away from the vision before him. "Josh?" he says looking around in confusion. "Josh!" Leland repeats, a little more in the moment now. He begins to hobble off toward the cage and his friends.

Stopping due to his ankle, Harmon looks at the place that Max was last at. He can't believe what he just saw. Was Max still alive somewhere, or was he dead? Harmon hears talk of Josh being found.
"I don't know what happened to Max. He walked into the wall. But it is a relief that we have found Josh. He need to free you and leave this place at once. We can get a search party later to look for Max. "

Pablo sees the cage door is secured by a large bolt at the top. Out of reach from the inhabitants and too high for Pablo to reach from the ground.

"Grassy hills," Percival tells the others. "I don't know where -- or even when -- that opening lead to, but I'm worried about Max. I fear all we've done is trade one prisoner for another."

Yes, you can all see him. He is in a cage sitting on a bed of straw, dishevelled and half-crazed, but it's definitely Josh, with other small figures behind him in the shadows. As Percival comes close, his lamplight hits them and they shrink back. They seem to be smaller versions of the monkey-like creatures.

Sliding the bolt aside, you open the cage door and let Josh out. The other creatures within make no effort to escape.

"Yes, but to where exactly?" His skepticism obvious by his tone, Percival doesn't seem eager to use the portal... not everywhere is better than here. A day ago, he never would have believed any of this... but now, the thought of escaping to a place where the lizard men choose to go doesn't set right with the doctor.
