Your strike catches the hollow square in the side, a blow that would not have bested a more capable foe, but still sufficient. It falls to the ground.
OOC:
You gain a hollow soul. con1vm is inactive so I will post for him in the mean time.
Romuald lifts his holy symbol and calls forth sacred flames from the earth. The hollow takes the scalding damage but survives lunging towards Yaro, slaming into him with his fists
OOC:
Take 6 points of damage.

Rolls

Hollows saving throw - (1d20)

(4) = 4

Holy fire damage - (1d8)

(1) = 1

Hollow Attack - (1d20)

(16) = 16

Hollow Damage - (1d4)

(3) = 3

Catching attack on shield ,overwhelmed by fury of blows Yaro misses punch to the face. Recovered, he trusts his blade again. Simple moves, trained thousand times in hundreds of battles.

Your counter strike is ferocious, the blow nearly slicing the hollow in two.
OOC:
You gain a hollow soul.
The threat seems to have past, but the long walk to the church remains.

"Are you Ok? Did they damage you, Romuald?" asks soldier "We should go". Yaro does quick search through bodies and ready to.
OOC:
Do we split souls or they all go to killer? I will wait Romunald's response before we continue.

OOC:
one who gets the killing blow on a creature gets the soul. But souls are essentially items in your inventory so you can give one to romunald. While we wait you can roll me an Int check to see what you know about hollow souls.

Strange spark flown to soldier's hand from hollow's body. "What is this?"

Rolls

Int check +0 - (1d20)

(7) = 7

You recall that in these lands souls are used as currency. But you can also consume them to strengthen yourself (read consume to get xp, though you didn't roll well enough to know how much without trying)

'I am fine. Just a scratch, nothing more', said I to Yaro. This fight was a good one...because no one was harmed or died, except our enemies. I heard Yaro's words and answered him with a nod. 'Yes, we should go further'.

And we proceed to the chapel. "Wise one, what do you know about these sparks - souls?" asks Yaro "Do we have them? Do I have a soul? What happens when you lose your soul? So many questions..."
OOC:
We travel until something interring happens or we reach church

As you arrive at the bonfire, you see a Mage and a knight, but the quickly fade to spirits. In the lands of Legrion time is convoluted you all know this, such a chance meeting surely marks you all as fated. Spitting embers from the bonfire touch a small stone stick, infusing it with power.

You both gain a white sign soapstone, which allows you to put down summoning signs, which allow other players to join your solo thread to help with fights. Successfully being summoned will grant reward.

The doors to the undead church stand before you. Two hollow stand guard over the entry.

You do not have permission to post in this thread.
