[Interest] Anyone looking to be an Edgerunner?

Calling out to fans of Cyberpunk and the genre itself! I wanna try and run a small game using Cyberpunk RED to get some good, fast paced acting that can come from the system. I mean, after finishing Edgerunners and playing a bit of 2077, how can you not?

I'll say that if I can get four (4) people, I'd say I'll be good to run a game. I'm new to the system, so if anyone else is new as well, please feel free to join and learn with me.
If you don't have the book, I can help where I can via PMs through GP or Discord, or even the forum once it's set up.

If you're wondering if it's difficult to get into, worry not. It's actually fairly straightforward. Could definitely run a lil training but before the start of the actual game.

As to what can be expected should a game get going:
1. Rainbow Mafia friendly: I'm trans, so lemme tell ya - this is a fun system for anyone under the rainbow
2. There will be difficult themes: this does not mean I'll hit every button though. I'll grab consented topics from people so I know what to avoid/mark/spoiler.
3. I can be absent minded most days: ADHD mixed with the Tism can be a fun mental cocktail. I try to check games when I can, but there may accidentally be days I plain forget about things either due to life, work, or dissociative fog. I try to keep my games to around 3 posts a week so as to not overwhelm myself or others who have a similar situation. If anything, I'll likely make a discord for rapid comms and reminders.

I'm interested! Familiar with cyberpunk red through an AP I listened to a while back. Seems like a cool world, character building, etc, and would like to learn the system and give it a go!

I would also be interested in this, though I only really know the Netflix show.

I love netrunners but some GMs dont do hacking/decking on PbP 'cuz of the slow down. Just checking the limits ;)

That's perfectly fine. It's good to note though that Cyberpunk RED takes place a good 30-ish years before the show and game.

May I recommend the Cyberpunk Red app to help new players to the system with character creation. Absolute game changer. No need to read the book with the app, it walks you through all steps of creation and makes it all easy to track and understand.

Plus it's free. Lots of great GM tools too ;)
