Do the bad guys get a turn too? If so, I may have acted too fast.

The laser cannons are the only bad guys and they took their turn so as long as you havent taken more than once action yet since combat began its fine.

Sorry for the delays, folks. I'm finding it tough to get on the game's frequency and write good material.

It's not anyone's fault but my own, everyone's been doing stellar posts. Everyone else seems to be pretty on-pace, so I'm willing to bow out after this scenario to let you guys really go to town. If it's ok, I may lurk a bit and see if I can start in with a new character who'll let me tune back in on the game's wavelength if things are still going.

Yes, no problem, whatever works for you! We'll wrap up this adventure soon with confronting the voidsaur who's taken over the station and see where everyone stands when we finish.

I think the issue is my approach. My natural approach subject matter like this with a sort of reflexively deconstructive/reconstructive mindset, but the game is camp in nature and tone, so I find myself having to mentally shift gears multiple times when writing, which is a great way to get distracted by shiny things when you've got ADHD. Camp is hard to do, especially on purpose, and everyone seems to be doing great at it, so I don't want to throw a spanner in the works by forcing a shift in tone.

Hopefully backing off for a minute will let me calibrate a fresh approach, but in the worst case I can keep reading the bonkers stuff the game is up to.
