Character Creation

We are going to create the character, take a quick look in the rules sections.

So the first choice is to know what system you will choose for creating the character dice or points.

ANd if you already know your race and your class.

I would like to roll first and decide by race and class afterwards. So I just roll here in this thread right?

I believe I have an idea since once of you has the entertainer background. You will come all as a group, I will open a pre-story shortly when people are more advance on their characters.

Before I roll for personality, two questions:

I'm picking Thard Harr as deity who is the dwarven deity of jungle survival and hunting. If the region story takes place in is far from jungle I would like to change my background to Outlander to bring in some variety. What do you think?

Another question PHB suggest
that player could choose or even customeze if DM allows.
Seems like you insist on rolling. Any reason to deny my decision?

P.S. I'm actually happy to finally see a DM who is interested in the PC personality and hopefully will put it to use in the game - something I have never experienced yet

Oh no, it is not insisting, I just thought it would be easier, but if you have a concept, I will be very happy to indulge.

And yes I like idea of my dwarf barbarian been "caretaker of an ancient ruin" this fits very well with Dwarf lore. Do we need to have details of the ruin? I have a bound that would prevent me letting other PCs visiting the ruin, so perhaps it could be left a mystery, but if you want to involve the ruin into the story - just design is to your satisfaction, as you please

For now it won't be necessary, but if we continue as a campaign, I'll try to use it.

If you're bound not to let the other go there, you will have to stay evasive about your past, it will certainly raise suspicion for the other players (héhéhé ! :o[])
