Character Creation

I can cast level 2 spells with level 2 spell slot though like level 1 spells with my level 1 spell slot and cantrips. And I only know how to play dnd 5e. I don't play 3.5 . Played in a dnd game once that was a 3.5 world converted to 5e and would get confused because I only know how to play dnd 5e.

I understand, I know D&D 3.5 much more, so I get confused with rules from time to time. It is a better system than I expected.

Well, I don't play 3.5 so only know dnd 5e rules.

Btw, I'm just going to keep the spells I currently have as as my prepared spells.
