Greenman, did you see the map of the area that Baron provided in the Setting Information Thread? There are two rivers on it. Fogmfire that Verge is on and Windrush that Threshold is on.

Baron, would we know the area well enough to have heard of the tower the cat speaks of?

I think we can assume that you have heard or could easily get from the town some rumors of a recluse(s) that lives in a tower fitting the location and description. People attribute misfortunes especially regarding the water to them. Saying they cursed the water or some other mystical superstition.

Perhaps for role playing purposes we could say we overheard people talking about it in the boars head or at the hostel

Yea, because we are PbP, I don’t want to force you to go looking for someone to ask. Wouldn’t add a ton to the story and just be busy work.

Wanted to give some choices about what to do here. Also, we are at another off ramp if people need to take off. I’m still invested though. I need to figure out a good way to do exp, it feels like a lot has gone on and you’ve defeated 4-5 orcs overall.
