Out of Character chatter

I realized that I needed a way to organize the facts about this game, most importantly, a way to organize NPCs. So I used an old obsidian portal account I had laying around. I'll probably post the rules up there eventually as well, but for now it is a good way for me to record information about Motivation. You do not need to join Obsidian Portal, nor are you even required to visit this website, but if you want to know more about the setting, I'll be adding details there.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Had an ice storm with spotty internet/reception. But I am back.

I hate to do this, because I really want to play, but I have to bow out at this time. I'm overextending myself trying to learn all of this right now. I'm so sorry.

I just posted the rules for equipment, wealth, and housing! Take a look. Also, I've unlocked our post!

It has begun! We have one more player still making a character (my spouse) and is anyone else still finishing their character? I forget.

I need allegiances and reputation stuff, but otherwise I think I'm done.

I'm already thinking of asking folks to post once every 48 hours, thoughts? It's only because we're waiting on @FlyingSucculent to respond, and I realize that I don't want to wait a week to post.

I think having a posting rate is more than fair.

I already do, but I listed it at 1 week, which I now regret.

Oh, I didn't roll for Disadvantages at the beginning of the scene. I hope you don't mind me, I'll be rolling those now.

As I mentioned before, I usually don't post on weekends. I don't think you ever answered if it was fine when I asked, so I wasn't sure if it mattered; it is unlikely to change though, so if it's a problem, do let me know! (Otherwise 48 hours is fine.)

I'm a bit confused as to what is happening right now. What triggered the Disadvantages roll and how are the ones you've picked relevant to the situation?

I believe it's a check to see if they're involved in the adventure?

Apologies, you are correct. I don't think it's required, and I do suppose that, knowing that, we don't have to worry about it on weekends.

If anyone is curious, that Perception check was to see if one of those bags appeared on the carousel; unfortunately, none did. However, when one appears, since you all beat the DC, you do see it.

Can't wait for all of us to fail an Investigation check and grab the wrong bag when it comes up. XD

Investigation allows you to find indications of what has occurred in the past or what will happen in the future. Perception is used to perceive things in the present.

Thankfully, most of the bags have name tags.

Because our characters know each other and if he spots Phillip, he'd recognise him. I was gonna ask the same, but it's not my turn yet.
