"No, no. You did the right thing. Better to be cautious and alive than to take unnecessary risks, mate." I clap him on the shoulder.
"That's a fine idea. Why don't you take charge of the sale. Nobody has business savvy like you do, eh?" I turn west, away from the Tower.
"I had another vison. Poseidon's again." I turn my neck towards him and remove my goggles, giving him a knowing look.
"She seems to always be the focal point of my visions, Merlin. I think the Gray Wing needs her. Maybe for us; maybe for the city...I don't know why...she seems to be some sort of catalyst for what's coming."
I tilt my head back, eyes closed. I can feel the constant sea breeze lash against my cheekbones, my throat. I sigh deeply, and continue,
"I told Shrike to meet us there, after she sees the kid. But I don't want another fight. I'll just take Mynah and Kestrel. The three of us should manage to stay out of any petty squabbles. You're in charge back at the Roost. Mind if I take your ski, brother?" OOC:
Merlin and Litch aren't biological brothers, it's more of a collegial/religious term for an equal.
