I think the group can do with an Unchained Rogue of the Scout archetype. Looks like I'll have plenty of flanking buddies and let's be honest, someone needs to be the brains among all the brawn. ;)

The young strapping lad of about 17 years old is the hanger-on who eventually became the kid who could scrounge up anything. Growing up among soldiers he learned how to fight too, but rather than soldiering and formation fighting he learned how to get himself out of a sticky situation with a jab of a knife.

I like that. I imagine the older guys who knew of him either saw him like a weird but lovable little brother, or thought he was obnoxious and in the way, with very little middle ground. But that gives me some ideas for much later on, too.

I want to give him a nickname like "Dolios". It's an epithet of Hermes meaning "Crafty" more or less. And while that particular cult does have some negative connotations, that's not unreasonable if his "big brothers" have varied opinions.

I'm practically done (sheet is up). All that's left is spending money. We still get a hefty sum despite it getting halved, so I was wondering what's possible in terms of magic. I'm not asking for Zeus' thunderbolts or anything. Maybe something like a mithral chain shirt, but I imagine that's not available either?

Nah, mithral is fine. There are also some non-magical weapon and armor boosts (like agile armor) that are up for grabs. I'll check your sheet.

I added a mithral chain shirt and adamantine dagger just now to spend my money.

Do I also have to list out he small stuff (rations, clothing, etc) or did we lose that in the shipwreck anyhow?
