Is there a good rules primer or QuickStart for the 2d20 system that I can read? I played the Infinity RPG for a little while, but that was back in 2015.

Yep, there sure is. :) Star Trek Adventures Quickstart

There are probably some slight adjustments since I haven't looked at that for a while, but it should be a good start. And, this first bit I'm planning is focused on new players, so will include a bit more explanations and prompting for the possibles and the necessaries. :)

All very welcome. :)

The next day or so I'll be posting some rule info, etc to make it easy to reference. I'd like to get the game rolling as soon as we can, so if folks can make sure your characters area as you like them we can beam over and cast off. :)

Testing CD dice rule:

Rolls

[CD] - (1d6)

(2) = 2

[CD] - (3d6)

(451) = 10

Ship Phasers - 5[CD] - (5d6)

(53356) = 22

Looking forward to this game; I submitted my character. I know I need to update the portrait but let me know if there's anything else I missed/did wrong transferring from the creator PDF to the sheet here.

Submitted Chuck Tate as well.

Can you resubmit? I think I accidentally rejected. :(

Testing d20 rule

(41817) = 39

more testing

Hmmm..... doesn't seem to be working.... any thoughts on this rule for those of you who have done such things? :)

{"rolled": "d20","reason": "TN##","natural": "<=##","highlight": "success highlight bold","hideTotal":true}

Rolls

Test Roll - TN13 - (3d20)

(17154) = 36

Testing

Rolls

Computer assist - TN20 - (1d20)

(15) = 15

Maybe remove the space after :

It is how the dice roller guide writes that code. I don't know that helps?

{"rolled":"d20","reason":"TN##","natural":"<=##","highlight":"success highlight bold","hideTotal":true}

Apparently, there's something with the "natural" setting that doesn't like the comparison :(

But, have it at least partially at the moment....

Rolls

Test Roll - TN 12 - (2d20)

(1311) = 24

Test Roll - TN 18 - (5d20)

(202131417) = 66

New test - this seems to work. :)

d20 rolls: include "TN ## / ##" in the reason where "TN ##" is the total target (Attribute+Discipline), and the "/ ##" is the Discipline rating. ✅ will be a success, and if roll a 20, should show highlighted COMPLICATION.

Combat Dice roll ([CD]): include [CD] in the reason, and roll the appropriate # of d6. "💥" will be a point of damage and ✅ will be an effect.

Does that make sense?

Rolls

TN 11 / 3 - (1d20, 1d20, 1d20, 1d20)

1d20 : (5) = 5

1d20 : (19) = 19

1d20 : (2) = 2

1d20 : (20) = 20

TN 15 / 5 - (1d20, 1d20)

1d20 : (15) = 15

1d20 : (13) = 13

Damage - 5[CD] - (5d6)

(21254) = 14

Oh I am going to suck so hard at this rolling system. Lol.
