For those attacking with your readied actions, please roll a flat check (DC 5) which must succeed before the attack can hit.

OOC:

Wugruk's AC is actually 20 with the shield raised, right? idk where I got 19 =p

not sure what other modifiers I would get to an improvised weapon, though not really expecting it to do damage I guess.

Errich hits the creature squarely, and from within the smoke you hear a screech. The smoke momentarily gives way to cleaner vapor, and within the cloud you see something that looks like another giant rat, but made of burning hot coals!

OOC:

I've caused your pouch to stop the rat in its tracks and cost its actions as it reels from the water. No damage, however.

As the smoke engulfs Wugruk, he sees fiery fangs lashing out at him. This thing looks like another giant rat, but made of burning hot coals!
