@ctme2000 love it, I thought Aid was for skill checks only but it actually works for attack rolls - you have a chance to turn this from a miss to a hit :D please take the Aid reaction and describe it as you see fit. I'll let you run with it - this is just a large rat lol nothing special, they're rodents, and use their sharp teeth as their primary weapon. In large numbers and extended presence, pestilence may be a concern, but not in this situation.

I should add: I'm totally down to adjust the DC based on how creative you are in aiding Wugruk's attack ;D

While his interests in nature never took root, so to speak, the occult was another matter, and Errich had experimented with his fair share of vermin based test subjects. If any of them got too aggressive as a result of said experiments, a quick slit of their underbelly put that to rest. He imagined these particular rodents would simply need a slightly larger and deeper cut for the same effect.

"Wugruk, aim for their underbelly, the quickest way to expose their guts!"
OOC:
2nd and 3rd action? Hmm, don't know atm. Can I go on hold with remaining actions, or does it have to be the full round/action count?

Rolls

Occultism - Aid - (1d20+6)

(3) + 6 = 9

OOC:
Ok, that roll was unfortunate, but I really like your bit! XD let's fudge the dice =p besides, Wugruk was a little unfortunate in his damage roll too.

As for splitting remaining actions, I don't think it's possible - see the Delay free action. Looks like a turn needs to be taken in its entirety, so feel free to reposition yourself or attempt something else.
See also: Act "As soon as your turn ends, you lose all your remaining actions, but not your reaction or your ability to use free actions."
Heeding Errich's guidance, Wugruk waits for the right moment to strike. As one of the rats tries to look bigger by standing up, Wugruk's blade meets it square in the gut. It looks even angrier now.
Mar 8, 2023 12:44 pm
Wugruk grunted as he pulled his blade across the underbelly of the rodent, a much easier target than the nape of the neck where he usually aimed, though even with the tip the rat looked...angrier...it's whiskers twitching, beady eyes staring into Wugruk's soul.

"Good tip..." he said to Errich while he quietly cursed himself for not having put it to more use.

"Ugh. Rats." Dante's delicate brows furrow as he surveys the filthy rodents with their beady eyes and scurrying movements. His nose wrinkles as if he could smell their foul stench, and he’s going to be really upset if the smell clings to him for the next few hours.

With a flick of his wrist, he flings the flame in his palm towards the nearest rodent, the flames illuminating his striking features with a flickering orange glow.
OOC:
Action 1&2: Produce Flame
Action 3: Casting Shield (+1 AC)

Then, with his long, slender finger, he traces a protective glyph in the air, then pushes it towards the dwarf warrior. "Get rid of them, Wugruk."
OOC:
Action 1: Produce Flame
Action 2: Casting Shield (+1 AC)
Action 3: Casting Forbidding Ward on Wugruk and target rodent
OOC:

Small note: Produce Flame, and Forbidding Ward are both 2 actions to cast, so you'd be able to cast either one of those plus shield, but not both.

The rats go before Dante, so let me adjust a few things.
First, both rats strike 3 times each. The last rat delays, since Wugruk is out of reach.
@Madclergy, please correct me if I got your AC wrong.
Hangry and antagonized, the rats bite at Wugruk wherever they can.

Rolls

Strikes from Rat 1 against Wugruk (AC18) - (1d20+7, 1d20+7-5, 1d20+7-10)

1d20+7 : (5) + 7 = 12

1d20+7-5 : (4) + 2 = 6

1d20+7-10 : (7) - 3 = 4

Strikes from Rat 2 against Wugruk (AC18) - (1d20+7, 1d20+7-5, 1d20+7-10)

1d20+7 : (7) + 7 = 14

1d20+7-5 : (8) + 2 = 10

1d20+7-10 : (7) - 3 = 4

OOC:
Thanks. Correction, Dante will cast Produce Flame and Shield on his turn.

Neither rat can find a way through his well-fitted armor. In its frenzy, the wounded rat fails to notice a bolt of flame whizzing directly towards it. With a nasty squeak, it falls over, its belly seared.

The last rat takes the place of its fallen comrade in a perceived attempt to avenge it.

Rolls

Strikes from Rat 3 against Wugruk (AC18) - (1d20+7, 1d20+7-5)

1d20+7 : (17) + 7 = 24

1d20+7-5 : (4) + 2 = 6

Mar 8, 2023 7:27 pm
With a lucky bite, its fangs find their way between two pieces of chain.
OOC:
Round 2, back to @ctme2000!

Rolls

Bite damage - (1d6+1)

(4) + 1 = 5

Mar 9, 2023 4:39 am
Seeing his words be ineffective, Errich drops his rapier to the ground, drawing his shortbow out and knocking an arrow. He takes aim at the closest rat and lets loose.

Action 1: drop rapier (free)
Action 2: pull out bow, knock an arrow
Action 3: Let loose with said arrow.

Rolls

Short Bow - Attack - (1d20+7)

(13) + 7 = 20

Short Bow - Damage (if hitting) - (1d6+4)

(1) + 4 = 5

With my shield raised I am at 20 AC but it doesn't look like it mattered on either set of attacks. I have updated my hp to 16/22 on my character sheet. :)

OOC:
That's right, I was so focused on calculating armor that I forgot the shield XD
Coming from D&D, this is pretty crazy: 20 AC, 22 HP hahah - but then, here we got some mundane rats with +7 to hit =) trust the math, I suppose

Definitely trust the math! :) Don't look at the little man behind the curtain

Those 6 consecutive attacks, all missing, looked pretty epic from where I'm sitting :D

Errich's arrow rips a piece of flesh from the rat he can best see.
OOC:
I'm not sure if the bow attack would take all 3 actions, but let's move forward for now. Go for it, @Madclergy.

edit: looks like it would be 1 Interact action to put away one weapon, another Interact action to draw the bow, and one Strike action to fire. If you Release (drop) the weapon instead of Interacting with it to put it away, you would end up with 1 more action to use. See Wielding Items.

Wugruk growled at the wound that he now sported on his forearm. "You'll pay for that pest!"
OOC:

Action 1: Strike Rat
Action 2: Strike Rat...again
Action 3: Profit...wait no Raise Shield

Rolls

Dwarven Waraxe - Atk/Dam - (1d20+6, 1d8+3)

1d20+6 : (1) + 6 = 7

1d8+3 : (4) + 3 = 7

Dwarven Waraxe - Atk/Dam - (1d20+1, 1d8+3)

1d20+1 : (7) + 1 = 8

1d8+3 : (1) + 3 = 4

Mar 10, 2023 2:48 am
The nimble rat skirts around Wugruk's axe: lucky or masterful? No one can tell.

Having tasted and smelled blood, both rats attempt to skirt around Wugruk for easier prey.

Rolls

Rat 1: Tumble Through Wugruk (DC14) - (1d20+5)

(2) + 5 = 7

Rat 2: Tumble Through Wugruk (DC14) - (1d20+5)

(10) + 5 = 15

Mar 10, 2023 2:54 am
The wounded rat cannot make it, and strikes at Wugruk. The other goes right for Dante!

Rolls

2 Strikes from Rat 1 against Wugruk (AC20) - (1d20+7, 1d20+7-5)

1d20+7 : (18) + 7 = 25

1d20+7-5 : (5) + 2 = 7

2 Strikes from Rat 2 against Dante (AC16) - (1d20+7, 1d20+7-5)

1d20+7 : (11) + 7 = 18

1d20+7-5 : (15) + 2 = 17

Mar 10, 2023 2:57 am
The first rat knows where Wugruk's wound is, and hones in on it. Behind him, Dante's magical shield cannot withstand these fearsome fangs.
OOC:
@Manhattan, you're up!

Rolls

Damage to Wugruk - (1d6+1)

(5) + 1 = 6

Damage to Dante - (1d6+1, 1d6+1)

1d6+1 : (6) + 1 = 7

1d6+1 : (5) + 1 = 6
