OOC:
Considering there's no actual threat, can Paul change forms without rolling?
Paul eyes the newcomer calmly, relaxed after the skirmish with the elemental.

Alexander looks over to the man with small metal launcher, And says

Had to fight an angry beaver spirit with the other pack, The other pack had a caustic self anointed alpha her name is Greta Goldhair,That rubbed me the wrong way.
Alexander holds his hand out to Patrick and asks.
What’s your name fellow warrior After which he would precede to ask everyone’s name beside Diana having recognized her from tales he heard of her family.
OOC:
My character is a Lupas has just accessed his homid form and as such knows nothing of the human world but does know more than a fair bit about the mystical world

OOC:

Yes-- outside of combat or a situation that is time sensitive you can just change without a roll keeping in mind that it's not instant- like taking 10/20 in Pathfinder equivalence where you just take time to ensure you do it. Only had you roll the first time to introduce the mechanic but going forward only in combat or time sensitive do you need to.

Diana would have shifted back like the others, spending time to makes sure her clothes are neat and hair back in position before gathering with the others. As Akexander aproaches and asks she join she others a soft smile, though inside her ego is cheering that at least one person already saw t her pack as the better choice. It also cemented her own decison in not pairing with Greta, even if she was another Theurge.

Whether she picked up on the talk about 'self appointed alpha and was ignoring it or missed it she nods her head and takes a hand if offered. 'I would be happy for you to join, as long as there are no major grievances from the others.'

As they are asked to share their tale she looks to Paul first, giving the Galliard a chance to tell heir tale before stepping up herself.

Feeling the mood become more agreeable, Paul allows himself to revert back to human form. In present company, the Crinos isn't particularly off-putting, but it isn't necessary.

"Hello!" Paul says cheerily. "We'd love to have you along with us, or at least, I'm not opposed."
Apr 4, 2023 9:27 pm
Oh joy, another Get. But at least it was a Lupus. And it was very tall in its human form. Looked to be her age. And very, very naked...

Misha was grateful Crinos couldn't blush.

Alexander moonshine looks over to Misha inquisitively wondering why she is looking so intently then looks down and realizes he is unclothed the Alexander says To himself though it is loud enough everyone hears it Oh yes father did say Homids prefer to be clothed. Then alexander walks into the forest to retrieve the cloth his father gave to him as a gift. He comes back minutes later in semi fancy cloths that he is struggled to put on properly, And while bowing slightly he says I am truly sorry for that I am not used to the human world or there culture. He straightens himself, and finishes straitening his cuffs And says Its great to meet you
OOC:
Alexanders father was a Homid who was the definition of a noble with great expectations. Alexander has many siblings they are all homids he was the only lupas though he is of very pure blood, his father has taught him little of the human world, but much of the mystical. Also if anyone is wonder he comes from Norway

OOC:

Pending the telling of the tale; @Phil_Ozzy_Fer - as the Galliard it's theoretically your responsibility to tell tales at the moot to "fluff" the renown of the pack, so you get first crack at this here if you want.

"Right." Misha replied to the big lad. Big in multiple areas lad. Right. She was almost sorry the show was over...

"Everything started with a bit of negotiating," Paul says. "It's always a bit like that. Anyway, we set off to look into what we thought was a fire caused by a bane of some sort, we really didn't know. However, we quickly learned that this wasn't just a scorch mark for some alien abduction site. Heading out to the site was the first time we'd shifted and run as a pack. It was Patrick that picked up on the fact that we'd need to cross over to the Umbra. He's got a very sensitive sniffer." He pauses and nods to Patrick before continuing. "Me, I agreed and was ready to follow along for the journey. Diana was also of like mind, and it was she that began connecting the dots that this was an electrical fire, rather than one caused by a flame." Paul turns and nods to Diana. "Misha found the elemental first," Paul says before nodding to her. "And it didn't take long to realize that it wasn't a bane, but an elemental that was the source of the issue. We all fought it, together, taking damage and collaborating to send the elemental back to wherever it had materialized from. While it was a formidable foe for just one of us, together we prevailed."
OOC:
Not having done this before, I have to ask, is this what you were after?

Phil_Ozzy_Fer says:
OOC:
Not having done this before, I have to ask, is this what you were after?
OOC:
Generally, yes. I'd say you did a great job for a first time! With experience, and as you grow more comfortable with your character, you'll develop your style. You may keep it understated, or you may go full D&D bard who embelishes and really turns your storytelling into a performance. Keep at it! Wr will do our best to give you plenty of stories to tell.
Apr 5, 2023 7:28 pm
Alexander nods approvingly then looks towards Mamma Teetee to see what comes next>
OOC:
Good job though I think Alordis wanted you to roll after you told your tale I put what he said below
OOC:
When you have conferred among yourselves and are ready to tell the tale to the moot someone will need to roll either Charisma or Manipulation + Performance (depending whether you are being mostly truthful, or mostly embellishing).
Apr 6, 2023 12:29 am
OOC:
Yes-- the only thing I'd add is to tack on that roll whenever you tell a tale at the moot for possible extra successes.
Now that you are all Cliath Garou, your pack can officially be formed. Select a pack leader (Alpha), and choose which totem you would like to follow. Mamma Teetee explains that she can summon the Incarna for you to beseech it for acceptance once you have chosen your totem.
OOC:
Rat Food adds 1 Totem and Running Fish adds 2, Diana adds 1, Misha 3, and Alexander adds 5 for a total of 12 Totem; Paul and Patrick will need to spend 2 Exp for their first points to gain access to the totem benefits.
Apr 6, 2023 2:55 am
Alexander feels conflicted about who should be the Alpha he feels that he is not worthy of the honor yet becoming the Alpha would prove that he is worthy Alexander after a couple of second decides he should not be Alpha He looks at the other choices and sizes them up starting with Misha strong stubborn he likes her though he doesn’t know why , Paul seems calm collected, Patrick seems fun and has a intriguing weapon, and finally Diana Ashmore from a very prestigious and purebred family according to his father She seems Confident,Elated that her first battle went well and she seems happy that he chose her over Greta. Alexander thinks Diana would be a great Alpha and he will support her. Offhandedly he thinks that his father would be proud that he has found such a strong, beautiful and pure Alpha. And so with his mind made up he says.

I feel Diana would be a worthy and strong Alpha
He then looks for the others response’s

"Do we really need a shotcaller? Meritocracy ain't good enough?"

In a higher-pitched, mocking, nasally voice, Patrick pushes up non-existant glasses and says, "But wolves have always had pack alphas to lead their packs, it is an ingrained natural behavior." In his normal voice, he continues. "Wolves also sniff each others asses and lick their own buttholes after they shit. I ain't convinced we need to do everything wolves do, just b'cause they do it. Sorry, not sorry."
Apr 6, 2023 5:21 am
Alexander just looks confused and concerned not knowing if Patrick is making a joke or of something is wrong he then says HuH then thinks more and says There hast to be a Alpha like you said there is an instinct ingrained in all of us to have a leader even humans need a leader/alpha.

Diana raises an eyebrow at Patrick, unimpressed. ' You are forgetting some members of our pack are in fact wolves? You shouldn't mock your pack mates. Besides humans tends towards leaders as well. Bosses, team captains, someone to call the shots and stop the pack getting divided, who keeps the best interest of the pack in mind. It's how things have been for millennia, no reason to break tradition.

'I promise if I lead I will do so for the interest of everyone and the pack, not for my own ego like some. ' She glances over the the other pack. 'Again I know more about things than most of you, I grew up with this. Plus it is in my blood, as a Silver fang.' Okay it was slightly for her ego, but it was natural she be the leader. Thats what she had been brought up on, told for years. She couldn't exactly report back to her Uncle that some wide eyed cub had been picked over her.
Apr 6, 2023 2:02 pm
Patrick couldn't help it, the laugh escaped his lips before he even knew it was coming. "Nah, most people don't actually need leaders. Miss me with that bullshit. Most of your examples don't exist because the people under them want them there -- they exist because the higher-ups want them there. Last thing any of us needs is some out of touch jackass in an ivory tower tellin' us we need someone to rule over us.

You know what I have NEVER heard anyone say? Ever? 'Thank goodness I have a boss. I'd be lost without them.' "
He clasps his hands together and puts them by his cheek, cocking his head to the side slightly and looking upwards... it is a clichéd look of adoration

"Fuck it. If I have to vote, I vote for Misha."
Apr 6, 2023 3:58 pm
Alexander looks over to Misha, and Paul and says What are your votes Then thinks if voting doesn't work there's always the old fashion way
Apr 6, 2023 10:10 pm
A look of surprise then annoyance cross Diana's face at the vote for Misha. 'You are kidding, a bone gn... She catchers herself and let's out a deep breath.

' Okay, fine. I'm not looking to be a dictator. I just feel...If Misha, or anyone else wishes to stand for pack leader then a vote it shall be. For the good of the pack. ' She wasn't going to lose to a bone gnawrers was she? Misha didn't even seem like she wanted to lead.

' You've heard from me why I think it should be me. I'm experienced, I've trained for this,. It's only fair Misha, and anyone else, gets to argue their point. ' She gestures for Misha or anyone else to speak.
