Book 1: A New Day

"Dammit!" Paul says putting his phone down brusquely. "I can't dig up anything useful except for rumours of a creature in the local reservoir. I don't know what to do now except wait."

"Well then eat some fries. They're getting cold," Patrick suggests.

Even as she queries the others about running back the Theurge keeps looking around trying to spot any details, before recalling one of the lessons recently taught.

'Actually wait I have an idea. I just need to focus, I might be able to look through? Keep a watch over me?'

Paul just sort of picks at the fries and looks out the window, trying to see the city as a nice little place to get away for a weekend.

Diana takes a deep breath and starts to focus, trying to rember her teachings. As she peeks through she starts to look for any important details, such as if there are people with the sword, cameras, and importantly a reflective surface to get back.

Misha got restless watching out of the window. Her urges could no longer be suppressed.
"I'm going outside for a smoke."

She did just that. As she lit her cig she wondered what the fuck was taking so long...

As she comes back to her sense in the Umbra Diana shakes her head. 'Its probably a no go without more planning. There's a guard in there, though I couldn't see cameras. Also not sure if there's a way back out.

She pauses, trying to focus again on the connection between her and Mammoth. ' Let me see if I can talk to the others through Mammoth... '

She tries to connect with Misha. 'We've found the sword. There's one guard. May be able to get it now, but if he spots us or raises the alarm we may be in a lit of trouble. What do you want us to do?

Paul continues poking at the fries hoping the others are ok.

Misha's face contorted with disgust a moment when the Princess' thoughts intruded on her own. She had hated the telepathy from the moment the pack had learned of it from Mammoth. She had voiced as much when the lesson had been over and the pack's Totem had lumbered off. But by then the pack was well used to Misha disliking most things related to the Garou. At least she had been respectful to Mammoth (although not wanting to be stomped into paste might have had something to do with that).

Thus Misha's thoughts were laden with annoyance in addition to the ever-present simmering fury of the Ahroun's Rage.
"Just come back! We'll get it tonight when there's less people."

'Understood'

She turns to Rat Food and Alex. 'Alphas orders, we go back. Lets find and alley or something to go back into. Someone else may have got into the bathrooms by now. With that she goes to find somewhere to jump back out the umbra and get back to the cafe to discuss.

As the group comes together to make a plan and put it into action, Patrick looks over at the precinct and points out, "If you were right about Vampires, going in at night is the worst plan we could have come up with. Y'all know that, right?"

"I'm always up for a better option," Paul says. "What's your plan?"

Patrick chuckles and shrugs. "Oh, it was to do something hours ago and be gone by now. Alpha said to wait though, so here we are."

Rolling his eyes, Paul walks away and strikes up a chat with Misha. "What's the plan?" he asks. "Wooden stakes and garlic?" We creep over and let ourselves into the station?
