Book 1: A New Day

"Maybe she'll show you what we got," Patrick deadpans. The edge in his voice makes the implication obvious... it's the same as when someone says that if anyone is going to try and take their guns, they can take the ammo first.

However, Patrick doesn't break stride as he blows past Viktor. The disdain is almost palpable.

Misha looked at the wild dog. If that was really a werewolf, it had to be a wolf. Not even Bone Gnawers would pass for a dog. So she wondered what she was looking at. Then again, the big douche said it was a cub. Perhaps it had some growing to do still.

"Looks cute." she said, ignoring Viktor's question just like Patrick.

Patrick flashes a smile, followed by "What's up man?"

I can at least be polite. Kid doesn't understand he's running with a walking talking nut sock. And he hasn't said anything stupid so far.

Misha takes a step back as the dog changes into a big black dude. She hadn't expected that. She took note that in a way this fellow was the opposite of her between sizes in shapes. His clothing was weird as well. Was that what they wore in Africa? Wait, did they go there to get this guy?

"Whoa dude. Looking rad there. You from Africa?"

"Riiight. Anyhow I'm Misha."
A zoo. Right. That made sense. Where else was the other pack going to pick this guy up? But where on earth did they get that clothing? Not that it mattered. But this was a lupus, so it probably cared about all the wolf stuff.
"I'm the alpha of this bunch. And I'm what they call Ahroun, don't know if they got around to explaining that stuff yet. Anyhow, you go settle in. And if you get sick of the old farts and their bat-shit crazy crusade that would get us all killed, ya can come talk to me."

Because this poor guy was going to be indoctrinated, no doubt about it. Not unless Misha abducted the poor fucker out of here but that wasn't going to happen..

"Eyy, good for you!" Misha replied with a tired smirk. She really didn't give a fuck about what made a Garou special.
"Means you can beat the shit out of Viktor when he talks shit to you." She made eye contact with Viktor. "...Which he will. He can't help himself. He's so full of shit he's got to smack talk to everyone."

"Why is everything so contentious?" Paul asks to know one in particular. "It's like being Garou is just a giant pissing contest. Nice to meet you, new friend." Paul waves to the new arrival that has yet to be named.

Misha, well known within her pack and without for her 'not giving a fuck' about Garou traditions, made no move to step forward..

"Yeah, fuck it," Patrick grumbles as he stands up. "So we roll into this little podunk and scope the cop shop for a bit. Found some weird-ass energy drink the po-po seem to love. Real suss shit. Anywhore, one distraction got some cops to roll out. Snuck in, grabbed the sword, snuck out. Fucking ninjas. Part of the squad even stayed to make sure there was no fallout, but it looked clean. We fuckin' done now?"

No real details, very streamlined presentation. Very "matter of fact" approach.
