Prologue: The Children's Journey

Flora smiles. "It was incredible. I have never been to a village so close to the ocean before and the haregon Mr. Buckey was very kind to all of us. He says to tell you hello and looks forward to some more of your delicious carrot cake cookies. " She told her before taking a bite of the rabbit stew. It is mouthwaterly delicious.

Tink says, "We got all kinds of stuff!! We didn't have enough money but Woody gave his amulet to Mr. Haregon to keep until we can pay for it all."

He turns to Woody and says, "Thanks Woody! So tell us more about the job."

"Don't you all worry. Whatever we find down there goes to paying off Mr. Haregon first. Then whatever is left, if anything, we split."

Woody wonders to himself, How the heck did I just turn into Jocko?

At dinner, later that night woody brings up the conversation, "So crew, are we all going to head into the cavern tomorrow? Ollie and I can help get the chores done real quick and we can go have a look around."

Flora nods. "She calls it a Storm Cellar but yeah it looks like an underground cavern with two large and foreboding doors coming out of the ground. That'll be great if you can help out. We basically just have to feed the animals amongst other things. If there are monsters down there, let's be careful. We start our chores after breakfast so after we wash dishes, we will get started." She says a moment later to Woody and Ollie.

"Lets get started tomorrow and no nightmares! I dont want to add to anything allready down there"

Flora would wash her face and go on to bed tucking herself into the bottom bunk. She sees Archimedes the Owl pop in and she gives him a hug and small kiss on his beak before saying "Good night Archimedes. Take care of Grandmother Sophie. I'll try my best to take care of everyone too. I just wish there was a way I could do that because one day I want to be a great mage the world has ever seen. I would do anything to protect those I care about. "

Closing her eyes and falling asleep, a great blue light comes out of her and encases everyone in its protective glow as Flora had just cast her very first spell.

Grandmother Sophie enters the room and smiles at that. "We will start your training tomorrow. You show potential to be an amazing spellcaster one day. " She says to herself quietly. She slowly closes the door behind her and blows out her candle before going to bed.

Tink agrees with everyone at dinner about going into the Storm Cellar tomorrow and is happy to accept help with chores to make them go faster. He asks Ollie if before bed they could take a look and the flame shooter nozzle and stuff they got from town togerher. He wants to prepare and infuse the flameshooter wristband and also design the magic divining rod. "Ollie, want to help me figure how to build some stuff? I gotta pick your brain about what you saw in that book. I don't have any paper but I know how good you are at soaking stuff up, and it looked like you soaked it in pretty good.>"

If Ollie agrees and they get that done, Tink is excited and happily heads to bed looking forward to the next day, despite how scary monsters made out of people's fears sounds. Just as Tink finally dozes off he feels calm and think he sees a blue light.

Ollie is generally a night Owl, and gladly helps tink work out his gadgets.

Woody waits till everyone is asleep then creeps out the door to the living room. He sits in a chair and meditates until he is refreshed. Being around humans, he's learned to fake sleep so they feel comfortable and they generally don't ask questions about him waking up before them.

"Archimedes must've found him some fast food. Silly owl!" Flora replied with a giggle.

"C'mon! The sooner we get breakfast and our chores done , the sooner we can go explore the cellar." Flora tells Tink, Woody and Ollie a moment later and heads to breakfast after washing her hands.

Ollie ready when everyone else is.

After helping make breakfast, Woody gets the others up and out to the table. Eating quickly and washing his plate, Woody prepares a makeshift leg quiver to make grabbing arrows faster while the others finish eating. Then he'll help get the other chores done.
