Prologue: The Children's Journey

Flora wakes up after a good night's sleep only to bump into Archimedes who is again chasing a mouse in the room.

"Go get 'em, Archimedes! You can do it!" She cries out to him in encouragement.

Archimedes let's out a hoot of thanks before catching the mouse and quickly eats it before flying away leaving behind sparkles of magic behind him.

Flora then washes up for breakfast and joins everyone in the kitchen with a smile. "Today's the day that Grandmother Sophie is going to train us in magic and more, I'm excited!" She says to everyone.

"Me too," Tink replies. "I hope she teaches us how to be strong so we can take care of her problem in the cellar. And we also have to stop the baroness and the goblin king and Baba Yaga and save all the other kids at the orphanage!"

"Um, hey Tink... Yeah, Grandma Sophie does have some good books, I guess. I've read a few, but there are still so many more. There's this one, uh, about a knight who tries to save a princess and, um, another about some explorers discovering a magical land... They're alright, I suppose. They kind of help me, you know, forget about stuff for a little while. But, uh, I'm doing okay."

"I guess Grandma is going to teach us about magic today? I know a guy back home that pretty good at making things disappear" Says Ollie with chuckle.

Quickly flipping through pages, Ollie puts down a book. "Not bad so far!. "A Dance of Shadows: Tales from the Moonlit Court" The main guy is really smart and great at sneaking into places. Ill have to finish it up later!"

Ollie, in a much better mood and inspired after seeing Grandmas library greedily wolfs down his breakfast before going outside.

Tink tries to eat even faster than Ollie. He also is excited to get to work with Grandma Sophie today. As he eats, he brings up the A Dance of Shadows book Olllie mentioned, not even pausing when his mouth is full.

"That book you talked about,...Moonlit Shadow Dance...or something...sounds pretty good Ollie. I bet you are just as smart as that guy. Maybe smarter. I know you are good at being just as sneaky."

"I wish!" Says Ollie through overstuffed cheeks, "His false face was so good he convinced the Kings inspector that was looking for him that HE was actually an inspector from another city doing the same thing! He didn’t even need magic! They ended working together the whole time and he never knew!"

Woody finishes up breakfast and dishes then heads outside with his bow and a wooden stick about the length and width of a short sword.
He practices, holding the bow with an arrow in his left hand, taking a swipe with the sword in his right, dropping it and quickly firing at another scarecrow.

Flora finishes eating and washes out her plate before she goes to get started on her chores. She calls to the others before going to feed the chickens "I'll meet you there after my chores!" Archimedes follows behind her with interest.

Ollie spends most of his time in the library.

Tink does chores with Flora. He tries to work fast because he's excited about training with Grandma Sophie. Every once and a while, as they are working Flora might catch Tink suddenly jump into a fighting stance with his fire wristband outstretched, as if the goats and bee hives are goblins or fears come to life like the cauldron.

Woody throws his dagger at the dummy's head area

Tink chooses a dummy and sends a firebolt at it.

Ollie casually walks past his dummy smiling before turning around and back stabbing it
