perhaps some crossbow sniping is in order. Dalia and I pick 1 victim and lay into him. Shoot/shoot-reload/reload-shoot shoot. Quick and quiet. Or do any of our magically inclined have a Silence spell to keep the screaming to a minimum?

I can offer lighting things on fire, rocks fall from the sky, blast them with water, or hurt them with thunder. We haven't slept so I can prepare for a stealth mission.

One cannot be prepared for everything. We expected an ambush and stand up fight. We did not plan on then stalking the villains to the lair and finishing them off on the same afternoon.

Plotting silently through the dark has proven more difficult then expected. I was hoped that Silenes cracking of branches, Dalia's knocking a log into the river, and Ralf's hearty sneeze would go unnoticed. Hopes are dashed as muffled sounds and lights can be detected from the bandit camp.

Octavius shall move east, through the clear area, towards the camp, and take a shot at the first scoundrel he sees. Given the low population of the region and the low quality of the raiders at the trading post, Octavius has no doubt everyone here is in on the gang and therefore guilty of banditry.

I whisper "Curses!" And move so i can fling my needle darts at the screamer and take him out before he can do any more damage to our plans. Then I will take cover in the nearby bushes.
