I just made the STR Save for the statue and updated the post. (I forgot to do that.) The statue was pushed back 5ft by the crusher feat but its STR save protected it from being knocked prone and pushed 10 feet by thunderous smite

Also, I didn't realize that I included the modifier in the crit damage for Admiral. Sorry! I will fix that!

No worries! It's a pretty minor thing but I thought I should bring it up because it's seeming like those extra 5 hit points might end up being rather important hahaha :P

Hey just a heads up that I probably won’t be able to post between now and Tuesday!

Wanna use the mirror? Regan can play dumb.

Sorry for the double post, but I should elaborate on what I was thinking.
OOC:

"Look, I appreciate your court... whatever this crap is... but we're tired. We're just trying to get to his stupid ship," Regan says, exasperated, jerking his thumb towards Jin. "We've already been damn near killed by a sea hag and rescued a Fossergrim and a bunch 'o fey kids. Oh, you probably want proof. This dumb mirror was the hag's."

Regan stands the mirror up and removes the covering, the reflective surface facing the fey nobility of the river court. "I think her name was '< command word >' or some shit? I dunno. Maybe '< command word >' wasn't her name? Whatever. Not my language."

And we see who gets trapped. 🤷‍♂️ 😁

I worry they might interpret it as an attack and things might go… very bad, but things aren’t exactly going super well as they are, so it might be worth a shot :P

Alright... let's roll the dice. 🤣

BTW, The interaction with the fey nobility was told to my irl gaming group when discussing bad rolls. It will probably serve as our go-to example, at least until a better -- or funnier -- example comes up.

I saw the modifiers. None of the fey should have failed their rolls. It should have been the boggle at most. And yet... RNGsus is fickle.

Well, that's the way it came down. It was a bold move on Regan's part and it payed off. To be fair, it was the 21 deception roll for Regan, that made it so that nobles didn't get a WIS check to see if they detected any trickiness and thought not to look at the mirror in the first place.

Sure sure, but outside of the boggle the lowest modifier was a +8. The assorted nobles needed a 7, two 6s, and a 5. The queen needed a... 2, iirc?

Yeah we got insanely lucky with those terrible rolls hahaha :D
