[Interest Check] Heroes of Mystara 2.0

I'm thinking of restarting my D&D 5E game Heroes of Mystara, which takes place in the setting created for the BECMI sets in the 80s. The heroes will fight monsters for loot, explore wild and strange lands, and perhaps build up their own holdings. I'm hoping to relive a little of what made the game fun for me when I first started. Is anyone interested in playing?

I would be interested, particularly if you are open to allowing the "Creature Crucibles" books and/or the Gazeteer series (though that isn't a deal breaker).

It will be a 5e game using the setting. I have the Gazateers and I think all four of the Creature Crucibles, so we can use those for background/setting material. What did you have in mind?

Missed out on the other one, I think I can throw my hat in here. I don't have a concept in mind but the game concept sounds fun. I might like to build something that will help the group.

That’s correct. Although knowing more of the lore might make things more fun. It’sgoing to be a straight up 5e game.

Is there anywhere you would recommend looking into the lore at?

Whoops! 5E, I'm going to pass, thank you. I appreciate the invitation, but I'm not terribly keen on 5E. Sorry, I hope that everyone has a great time. Mystara is a great setting!

I am also interested and have no problems with using 5e.

I've posted a recruitment thread for this game here. Everyone who posted in this interest check will be considered for one of the five player slots I have. I'm going to monitor the recruitment thread post for the next few days and then pick players.
