"There is enchantment of some kind in that model boat. You could be right, Hraven. If it is, contact with water might be the key to unlocking its power."

Runar examines the boat, looking for any inscription. If there was a command-word, they needed to know it quickly.

Sven bolts forward upon seeing the toy ship, and immediately regrets it as his face shows signs of pain. "You found a folding ship? It would seem the gods are pleased with us today! As much as I would love to feast in Valhalla with my brothers, it would seem we have more fights in this realm. Quickly now, to the tunnel!" And so you run. Great pieces of the ceiling smash to the ground in the courtyard, and rooms collapse as you pass. The throne room where the undead master had waited for countless centuries is now a mass of icy rubble.

The lower level seems to be in better shape for now, as everything above you is destroyed. You rush through the yeti's chamber and begin working your way through the tunnel it had carved to the outside. You find yourselves to the east of the Valley of Frozen Fears, running alongside the outside of the cliff walls that had earlier loomed over you. Loud crashing and explosion noises alert you to the fact that the entire iceberg that you stand upon is violently calving. You reach the water's edge and place the boat in the ocean. Touching the briny water, it begins to grow until it is the size of a real ship! But as it had been frozen, you hear many uncomfortable cracks and screeches; you sense that whatever magics this once held are now used, and this ship is now mundane.

Now seabound, you begin making your way back south towards the Northlands. There is no sign of the Long Serpent or your jarl, and you begin to regret the paltry provisions you have with you. It is a miserable time returning to your home, but you do make it. Having succeeded at rescuing Sven, he spreads the tale of the mysterious iceberg and its palace to anyone who can hear and commends you as heroes of great renown. Your reputations increase substantially in the household of Jarl Olaf, and One-Eyed Sven, who runs the household in the jarl’s absence, affords you places of high honor at his table.
