Question - are there some languages (beyond Elvish, goblin, etc.) that would be helpful or appropriate for Kari to know? She has 4!

But seriously, I think giants are fairly common. After all, we're in the foothills/valley to the Stoneheart Range. Maybe Gnoll or Ogre?

I will always recommend rolling on the OSE language chart. That's how you end up with Magic-Users negotiating with Ogres in moathouses.

I rolled a Thief that spoke Doppelganger from that chart. It was perfect! Too bad the game died.

Also, new canon. High Orcish will now be known as Pig Latin.
