I thought this when reading the player's guide, but now we're seeing it in action. It quite like this system so far, but it is not particularly well-suited for pulpy, high-octane play. It's really pretty gritty! You take an injury or two, things get *much* harder...
No kidding, kind of the opposite of "Hey, I dang near split him in two with my sword, can't he at least act hurt?" This system is much more, "oh yes, you will hurt."
Just a heads up -- out of town and largely out of pocket for all posting for the next seven days or so -- expect to see me back around by Oct 23rd. Autopilot Sabine as necessary!
In the way of such things, if we were continuing a longer campaign, Irish and Sabine would have permanent scars for their adventures, one for each injury.
Thanks for helping me explore this crazy, wonderful setting, and slay Nazis!
Awesome, Q, thanks for running and exploring the system!
PS: ALL of those Nazis on board would get a bullet in the head and be dropped off the side. Ideally onto Hitler as he has lunch in the German countryside with his white tablecloth and fine wine.
Wow. Intellectually I knew we were getting close to the end, but emotionally, I did not see it coming !! - Thanks Q and my fellow players. That was great fun and I can't wait for the next one... Nudge, nudge, know what I mean... Wink..
