Dark Seeds

Gilcyne raises to all fours and scrambles toward her belongings with no apparent concern for her knees on the temple floor. She grabs up her two hand axes and spins around to face the others. "Curse the gods! What was that abomination, and who are all of you?"

Covered in blood, the average-looking Torquendyan male pushes himself up into a sitting position on the broken stone floor. He wipes the blood out of his eyes and blinks a couple times, before turning to see the nude woman nearby whose voice had broken the silence after the talking corpse vanished. "Glump..." He answers and shrugs.

Palari wakes confused, and the garbled languages the apparition and the naked woman are not familiar to her.

She stands up slowly and, watching the other people, carefully looks thru her equipment and starts getting dressed. She answers the woman in Krandian

"I do not understand you. Do you speak common?"

Gilcyne replies in Krandian, "Yes I speak your cursed tongue, I am not some ignorant lump! Who are you? Do you know what is going on?"

A tall Dendrelyssi female rises easily into a lotus position and reaches for her waterskin. Her hair, normally white, is streaked and matted with blood and sticking to her naked flesh. She opens the cork and takes a drink, before pouring some of the contents over her head and wiping blood and hair from her face.

"That was a flayed corpse. It said we had committed some crime and had now served our sentence." She answers the first speaker in perfect Witch. "All of your faces seems familiar." She adds in Krandian. "Though, I can not yet recall your names."She nods at Glump.

"My name is Valmara: First born of the Taalmoranth and daughter of the Grand Advisor Vyserion of Quendor." She introduces herself, repeating it in High Dendrelyssi, Witch, and Krandian, before pouring more water over her shoulders and breasts to help clear away the blood.

Elyshaeba makes an obscene gesture at the living corpse as it vanishes. She groans and stands, looks down her slender highly tattooed body at the splashes of blood. "Elyshaeba, I am." She gives her name and extends a bloodied arm for the raven, that has also appeared, to perch upon. "What is this place?" She asks in Witch tongue.

Try as he might, Glump finds it impossible to keep from longer than polite glances at all the unclothed woman surrounding him. He finally reaches for a bundle of his clothing and places it in his lap to hide his arousal and looks about for solutions to cleaning the blood from all over himself.

"What did it mean...crimes?" He asked in Krandian with some distaste for the words coming from his own mouth.

Seeing as how everyone else here is at least as confused as she is Gilcyne relaxes..a little. She places her weapons on the ground again and sorts out her armor. As she does she turns to Elyshaeba and replies in their shared language. "Cousin, I am called Gilcyne. I know as much as you do about this place. It seems to be the same for the others so far."

In Krandian she announces, "I don't know what it meant, but it says we've done our time so i intend to leave and never look back."

"I am curious to know what crime I committed, and why my punishment appears to have ended with myself covered in blood," she comments to the others, sticking to Krandian, as she collects the last of her gear. "I for one am curious about this crime, and this place, so I will explore. Anyone else curious?"

Palari looks around the area trying to figure it out in terms of use, location, culture.

Stroking the top of the raven's head, Elyshaeba slowly moves toward the black pony, with the white socks and star blaze, near her. "Well Cuz." She replies to Gilcyne. "I don't like that something has been messing around in my head and taken my memories." She says in Witch.

"The apparition also said we chose to have the memory erased. I am inclined to think i know what i would want. If i made that decision, why question it?" She says in Witch.

Looking around, the barbarian takes in the situation. Which direction is "out" for her?
