I've got the basis for who I think the character should be. Thinking of going with the exile background, and incorporating a bit of American Gods, where he drives a taxi around town to keep on the down low, earn some scratch, and keep an ear/eye out for the goings-on around town.
Divine moves would be Soothing, Healing, and Smite.
Hope to have the character sheet filled out by tonight.
Curious though, is the Divine an actual angel/demon that lives on Earth, or a human/mortal that's been blessed by a god, akin to a DnD paladin?

The way I read the playbook, you are an angel/demon put on the Earth for a reason. You choose that reason when you pick your mission. Which you stated was that you were exiled and you must do the work of good without alerting your brother and sister angels/demons. So I'd say your character is an angel, who for some unknown reason at the moment was exiled to Earth.

I think TextualSubtext is out of town rl and therefore unable to work on their character. We'll shelve him for now and work him in when he's able to be here again.

Sorry everyone, I am on the road to a graduation in another state. I didn't think I'd be driving as much of the trip that I did. Here are my Histories.
@ctme2000, Parker tried to slay Elise, but she conviced them she was on the side of good. What convinced Parker?
@Ledosero, Alex and Elise fought together against a hive of young vampires and prevailed. We make a good if odd team.
@rossum, Elise is romantically obsessed with Janos. Does he know? Do they reciprocate?

Here's my Hx:
• Blood relation, though you were out of contact for years. Ask them how they reconnected with you.
• Mentor from another life. Ask them what they taught you.
• Your magic-fueled rescue of them introduced them to the supernatural. Tell them what creature was after them.
• An old rivalry has turned into a tight friendship. Tell them what you once fought over.
• You thought they were dead, and now they’re back. What "killed" them?
• They’re an on-again/off-again love interest. Ask them what keeps you apart. Tell them what keeps you together.
• A comrade-in-arms. You’ve faced the biggest threats together.I am thinking rivalry-to-friendship for the Expert, Maybe back from the dead for the Monstrous, I could see the mentor as the Chosen, and perhaps comrade with the Divine? I am not sure the best way to see everyone's character sheets to verify if this works.
Does any of these speak to anyone in particular? @AutomAtomic, I didn't want to doubletap the love thing with Elise. (I mean, I did, but I didn't want to have a one-note relationship.

Show off who is the best hunter in town! Until we found out that we had to work together to beat them.
We might still try compete in getting kills in, but that is what drives us an makes us an actually good team.
They are destined to be your mentor. Tell them how this was revealed.

We could be a sort of two-souls educating each other in an endless cycle of birth and rebirth.
In my previous life I was a wise old wizard, a man who educated Janos in magic.
Now he is reborn as a girl in the Bishop family and quite unexpectedly Chosen. Maybe Janos knew that and is now mentoring
Alex. And some time in the future, roles will be reversed again.
