When we start level one do we bring all of our survivors or just pick one character?

Just pick one. The others can serve as backup characters in case your main PC dies.

Darkstar8 you can definitely have Sage, my elf, although Rat's wheel roll sent him back to the peasant world and resurrected a dead PC so maybe one of your elves is the resurrected one? DM?

So I’m torn about what PC to play next adventure. So, I have questions:
-If I play Honey as a cleric, can I have the Lady in Blue as her deity?
-Could I use dominion451’s elf? He offered.
-If Honey dies, and I have no backups… what’s the plan?

@Darkstar8 : You can certainly choose the Lady in Blue as your deity! She is chaotic, naturally. I can work up full details for her if you go this route.

You can use dominion's elf as your PC, for sure.

If your PC dies without backups, you can use another player's backup if they are willing to lend them to you, or roll up a new 1st-level character.

Excellent! Everybody can start leveling up their characters to 1. Feel free to play out any post-adventure RP in the Chapter 0 thread.

I've recruited a new player to replace Qralloq. They'll be making a 1st-level character to join you as well. In the meantime, I'll look over the 1st-level modules and choose one that looks fun. If anybody has played a 1st-level module before, let me know what it was and I'll avoid picking that one so you can have a new experience. :)

What classes are people thinking of our there? Hyde could be either a warrior or thief although I do play a lot of thieves in general... Never played an elf or a dwarf either and I have one of each...

Well, I’ve played an epic cleric up to 5th level, but I can’t ignore the wisdom of the funnel. So I’m gonna play a chaos cleric.
As for modules I’ve played… gimme a minute to look through a list.

How’s everyone handling character sheets?

If you like, you can withdraw your alias for the funnel characters and submit a new character with a full sheet for your 1st level PC.

What and where can I find my changed birth augur in the module you linked?

Pine will play a thief, it will be in honour of Ulric, the candle thief.

In the Quickstart Rules on the first post of this thread, you can find the birth augurs on Table 1-2 on page 4. You rolled 18, which is Guardian angel: Saving throws to escape traps.
