The System
The system I’ll be using is Fight! 2E, the game is built around combos and fighting game style fights which I think fits the world well. It’s a system I’m still relatively new to though, so bear with me.
The PitchAdult Themes
Other than people being killed and the obviously questionable ethics of child soldiers, none that stand out to me.
Experience Requirements
None. I’m always happy to teach new systems!
How to apply / Post frequency etc.
I’m not sure how much interest this’ll get, so I’m debating between a 1-1 game or a group. I’m happy to do either, depending on who wants to play, but in theory I won’t go over 4 players.
With a 1-1 I might expect a faster post frequency, but nothing more than once a day, while a group I’d aim for once a day but expect slower. The overall duration of the game will, if everything goes right, take some time but with the oneshot system people can maybe come and go? Who knows.
Anywho, to apply simply respond here or send a DM, I’m not fussed. I’ll just be happy if someone does. XD

The Pitch
[ +- ] The Story
Roughly 15 years before the events of the main series, before Salem’s horror was revealed, the world of Remnant suffered at the hands of a different threat that nearly toppled the order of the world. The one calling themselves Retribution gathered an army of grimm and launched attacks on town after town.
This is the little known tale of the team that braved the storm and held back the tide. Swept under the rug to avoid a panic, they fought with bravery and passion and showed to Ozpin just how necessary trust would be when Salem finally struck.
But of course, as with all stories, the legend had to come from humble beginnings. How did they become the heroes they were?

[ +- ] Out of Character
The game will begin with a group of new students starting at one of the four huntsmen academies. Which one will be up to you, the players, and will progress a little through their education. The midpoint would be graduation, and (hopefully) the finale would be the final battle with Retribution and their army of grimm.
It’ll feature a series of connected oneshot style scenarios with timeskips in between. The entire campaign is likely to take a narrative timescale of 10-13 years, from the characters at 17 to 27-30.
Semblances, skills, backgrounds and weapons are all fair game, except try and stay away from canon characters since it’d make everything more complicated. Happy to work through character concepts or let you throw a finished product over to me for review!
(Characters from marginalised and LGTB groups are welcomed and encouraged!)
