Sounds good to me. I'm ready to start a thread for the game if you are. I'll introduce rules as they become relevant, but I think you'll get it quickly. I'm new to this format, so don't hesitate to bring up any suggestions or ask questions.
The game itself is classless, and your abilities are tied to the items you carry. In this adventure you don't start with gear, but the gear you will encounter will be related to warriors (based on your preference from above)
I think the most important things to know about the rules are
- If you die, you come back to life at the last bonfire you rested at. Your vigour gets reduced by 1 one that happens.
- There are no rolls to hit. Everything hits automatically unless you decide to parry or dodge.
- You can only carry 10 items at a time. If you are carrying more than 10 items, your resilience drops to zero.
- Special actions such as casting spells typically cost 1 fatigue. Each fatigue takes up an inventory slot.
- You can remove fatigue by resting at bonfires.
- Minor enemies that died come back to life after resting at a bonfire.
- If your resilience drops below 0, you need to make a strength safe or die.
- Finally saves use a roll under system, so for your character to successfully make a strength save, you would roll a d20 and anything under 14 is successful.
I look forward to playing this adventure, and I hope you find it enjoyable.
