@KirinOdDarkness- if the main payoff you're looking for is Whirlwind that looks good, but keep in mind scythe doesn't use dex for attackbor damage and it doesn't have reach so there are a few things that may need adjusted as you level.
I know, dex will be the characters main stat and str won't be ideal, it's a 10 after the race mod. Mostly it be combat maneuvers that they will be focusing on. Sadly the only feat to use dex for weapons only apply to light weapons. I've thought of getting the lunge feat, but since it worked only for attacks and not opportunity attacks I decided against it. I do like the idea of being able to throw my scythe for an attack though lol.
If you want you can look into advanced weapon training, one option will get you finesse on a weapon group (So polearms for the scythe). You can either get it naturally at 9, or pick up a feat to get it earlier.

(Do tell me if you want me to stop with suggestions, pathfinder is just my main game so know a little about it :P)
I appreciate it, I don't really know much about pathfinder. It was a bit of an exercise to figure out why fighters got a feat at every level. Didn't know there was a general level up bonuses.

Oh weird, after I shared it it seems to be calculating correctly now.
Weird, but I'm glad it fixed itself

Ok so it still does it, but only when I'm on editing my character. Took a screenshot of it, but its a pain to post pics on this site. Still weird that it does that.

You can just paste pictures straight from your clipboard.

But eh, as long as it's only in editing, it shouldn't be an issue

Yeah it doesn't let me do that. Maybe because I'm on my phone? But it seems it will let me post it automatically to imgur though.

Well, you have the four points from Dex and then four points in miscellaneous mods. That adds up to eight
Aug 24, 2023 6:08 pm
But I dont have anything in misc mods. Look at initiative, it's also +8 when there is nothing else but the dex ability. I didn't include the whole reflex part because I would have lost the initiative section. Was able to zoom out to fit the whole thing now.

Ah, sorry, I was looking at the skills but you weren't talking about those. I don't know then.

Is advanced weapon training in a different book than the Core Rulebook? I don't remember seeing that feat.

Ah yeah. Here are the advanced weapon training rules,
here is the feat that will get you it before level 9. It came out in Weapon masters handbook. It and the Armour masters handbook have a lot of nice stuff for fighters.

The site I just linked or this one have all the stuff from the books legally and for free (apologies if you were already aware of them). Will help when trying to find stuff, and also willing to offer advice/suggestions.

One suggestion I will give is if you can squeeze in improved crit later on - know you are looking for mostly combat maneuvers, but scythe's pick thing is when you crit someone they are probably dead so increasing that could be useful for when you do need to swing.

Edit: Also re the sheet.. yeah I noticed a while ago it doesn't necessarily calculate till after you hit save. Its a bit of a pain, but you learn to tolerate it :P.

Thanks alot :) I heard that you could find all pathfinder stuff for free but I just didn't know where. I was looking at that site earlier but I didn't know if it was legit or not. This helps a bunch. I'll have to look it over how I want to rework my character. Looks like level 6 might be the earliest I'll be able to use dex for the scythe. Also didn't know there was a thing called a switchscythe, is that basically a switchblade but instead it's a scythe?

Yes- for looking for options basically everything Pathfinder is available on Archives of Nethys- its a great resource.

Tracking the following interested--

TheHumbug- Cloud Dwarf Summoner

KirinofDarkness- Silver Kobold Scythe wielding fighter

GeneCortess- Fire Dwarf Hunter

LightofMidnight- Jitskin Artificier w/ Hand feats (didn't catch race)

Looks like a pretty good group- could still use a few more- cleric should be calling out to be played and either a rogue/bard type or a second frontline fighter would round things out, any takers?

Mostly likely human for the Jistkan Artificer, as means she can start strong on the possessed hands feats.

If need be however I can jump to cleric.. and depending on if those who have ;indulged; in a great lifespan count as undead there is a prestige class I've been looking to try.. I would need a tiny bit of fiddling to fit setting as it is currenttly linked to Achakeke (Mostl y with the sawtooth blade use)

Smiles. Nearly completed character and ready to apply.

Fiden. Who is my Female Fire Dwarven Hunter & Firey Eagle Companion. Smiles. Fiden is 4' tall and her eagle is a good 2' 6" tall or so. The eagle is not a shoulder size pet. Has a good 7' wingspan and has a mind of its own. Frequently the eagle has been seen walking along with Fiden. It appears that the eagle is fast enough with its small legs to keep up with slower dwarven Fiden's legs. Both move at 20'. Eagle flies like a rocket when it is in the air.

Party has heard/seen Fiden talk to the eagle like it is a person. It does appear only to hear, and no one ever heard it speak. It is always extremely quiet and lacks any real efforts to display that it hears and understands. Like talking to a wall. It is obviously Fiden's eagle as it always around her.

There is no doubt that the eagle can live by itself. It is obviously dangerous due to its talon and bite both. It has no problem finding lunch and catching it. Time lunch has seen the eagle, it is already too late for it.

All locale rodents run and hide for their lives. Bad time for a party member to have a pet/companion/familiar rodent (Lunch) of any kind. I'm sure it would fear for its life as the eagle watches and waits for it. Owner of such rodents (Lunch) will find their rodent has run away (Eatten).

What are the rules/guidelines being used for firearms?

Any thoughts on how we become a party?

That part is easy since you are all member of the same hierarchical lawful organization- the game start will you bring ordered to assume control in Narport by the Dean.

I'll get the invites to the game sent out here shortly.

If you are still looking, I can fill the role of a cleric, bard, rogue or fighter.
