Hello, I have KAP 5.2, but not the latest 6e starter set. Is it an acceptable starting point?

Oops sorry KCC, it's true that it's been a mighty long gap between my setting up this game, and actually starting the game even though we were very quick to sort things out. I understand if that was an enthusiasm killer.

Harrigan can't commit at this point, and Bowl would prefer to only follow along for now, which leaves 6 players, a cosier number than the initial 8, to be honest. Upon reflection I did come to the conclusion 4-6 would be much more preferred, and was vacillating on starting two games because there were more than 10 people interested.

Ok, gimme a moment to give everyone a firm start date, and see if we are still on board. I still keenly want to run this, juggling and all.

this is an apology post. The enthusiasm all of you had for when I announced my plans for this game was nothing short of awesome. For that I am deeply appreciative.

But September, my intended start for this game, has come and gone and for some reason this is my first failure to launch a game on GP in six years, despite my passion and preparation for both the system and the source material. I'm not sure why: random interruptions, a perfectionist streak, over-thinking it, holding out for the full set of rules, I don't know. I don't want to beat myself up over it, so I'm going to call this one off for now. I feel like I'll come back to it, but I don't want to keeping everyone waiting in the meantime.

Thanks again for the interest. You'll see me continue to pitch and play other games on the forum, so I hope to have the opportunity to play with you further down the line.
