Can you get to my copy of the pre-gens using the link above? That one contains all eight.

GM, can we perhaps alter character’s traits and passions, along with the backstory, leaving the other core stats in place? I’m pretty sure I can edit the pre-gen sheets

Yes for sure! This is exactly what I recommend edit if anyone prefers different traits and passions. I'm also okay with changing the core stats, skills and traits, easiest way to do that is to do direct number swaps. Backstory ultimately is yours to change, if you want to know where your character can hail from, or who might their liege lord be, just ask!

I'll starting dropping some background resources for those that want to read up more. We have some time for everyone to familiarise themselves with the system and/or for me to talk us through the basics, before we even start. Pendragon chargen is meant to be enjoyed, not because of having fun with randomising rolls, but because it's pretty neat to delve into the various detailed history/myth like options.

So I do have an idea for my own knight... and I do in fact want to know a good place he can be from. Ideally from a shamed and perhaps even dead lord -- someone who got in Arthur's way.

Cadwallon - is the son of a sergeant who served Count Roderick of Salisbury back before the Anarchy - per the pregen blurb.

I'm going to say he lost his entire family during the Anarchy and managed to escape and later find a knight to take him under his wing and make him a squire. Do you want to decide who the knight is @BedzoneII?

Now he's a young esquire in search of a lord with nothing to lose. He's self-conscious about the old and creaky armor he wears that belonged to his father but he won't show it and is determined to prevent what happened to his family, from happening to others while making a name for himself. He is hungry to succeed.

How are we supposed to create a character for the game? Do we simply copy the character sheet in plain text?

I like this one for Cadwallon. The armor looks shoddy, almost rusty. The expression suits him too.

If no one makes a sheet you can just upload the image of your pregen if you are using one, into a blank character sheet and add any text you want to it.

I'm just going to play around with Sir Avalloc's Traits. And I'll be toning down the braying laugh and "constant barrage of jokes and wry observations", if not entirely removing them. :-)

So what do you need from us, Bedzone?

Formally pulling out BZ, as mentioned in the Discord. Too much going on PbP-wise at the moment to do justice to this. I’d love a spot next time!
