"Why do I even bother?" Colten unsheaths his sword in a flash. "If violence is the only language you understand, then so be it."

With a quick advance, Colten lunges forward to step within striking range of the two men, eager to engage them both. In one fluid motion, the nobleman's blade arcs forward in a piercing thrust at the closest of the two.

Delg, anticipating the attack, quickly launches off two bolts of fire that each miss far to the right. Stunned at first, the man now grins, thinking that him and his friends have found some easy prey. He closes on Etch and swings his blade wildly back and forth finding a weak spot in the hunter's armor.

Rushing forward to meet the attack Colten flashes his rapier and lunges at one of the men only to catch a bit of his clothing. Unfazed, the man launches into a series of attacks which the swordsman easily bats away.

Receiving the man's attacks, Etch's grips its greatsword. It's gauntlets click as static energy begins to crackle within its hands. The energy pulses along the blade. The constructs eyes shift from a faint blue glow, to a bright yellow glow. With the charged blade, Etch delivers a powerful side-arm swipe at the man.
OOC:
Bonus Action: Activate Primal Right - my attacks deal an additional 1d4 lightning damage.
Action: Attack with greatsword.

That damage roll was funny... supposed to be 2d6+1d4+4... not sure where the extra +1 came in -- rerolling the "1" from the greatsword damage...

...for 12 Damage + 3 Lightning Damage

"What you think you're doing little one!" the bandit yells out as he sees Cori charging forward. It's not until Cori's blade slashes deep into his thigh that the bandit realized his mistake; this is not the same little kid they had been chasing a moment ago. Screaming in pain he lashes back at the barbarian and gets lucky as the tip of his blade slides in between two of the halfling's ribs.

The satisfied look on Etch's attacker's face is quickly replaced with one of horror as the unfamiliar smell of ozone fills the air around the hunter's sword. "What in the…." he mutters before the electric blade slices across his chest. The last unengaged man rushes to his companion's side swinging defensively as the injured man staggers about.
OOC:
Cori takes 6HP of unadjusted damage (Rage should cut that in half)

"You are quick, I'll give you that." Colten says as he presses the man's retreat with a quick advance and another thrust. "Again!"

A smirk appears on the nobleman's face, glad that there is at least a slight challenge in this adventure.

Continuing his verbal assault on Colten the bandit never sees the magical bolt that kills him. Knocked back by the momentum of the attack his body crashes through the thick undergrowth and lands with a dull thud.
Etch's staggered attacker is bolstered by the sudden appearance of his comrade and desperately jabs his blade forward numerous times, landing several blows that find seams in the hunter's armor.

Cori's attack misses badly, much to the relief of his attacker, who lets out an audible sigh after the attempt. Seeing an opportunity the man jumps right back into the attack, taking several swings at the halfling, one of which slips through and nicks a shoulder.

Etch's attacker continues his relentless attack swinging wildly at the injured hunter, but unable to make a connection.

Top of the order, everyone gets a turn as the first group of baddies has been eliminated.

Disappointed at the lack of attention he received, Colten lunges forward at Etche's attacker, his blade carrying a twisted jealousy. Before the bandit could make any visible reaction to his attack, the nobleman strikes again with serpentine grace!

The last two men don't stand a chance as Colten and Etch team up to quickly dispatch the hunter's attacker. Colten lunges forward, attacking from the side his rapier easily penetrates the man's abdomen. Lurching forward in pain the bandit can barely make out Etch's words before the electric blade cuts him down.

Not to be outdone, Cori, with an outburst of profanities that would make a drunken dwarf blush, brings his axe straight down on his foe's leg, slicing it clean through.

Popping his head above the brush Carp, seeing that the situation has been handled, strides out into the open. "Mess with us, will ya?" he asks triumphantly, arms across his chest. "Come on, guys! Let me show you that tunnel!" he yells and once again takes off running through the underbrush.

Following closely behind the young halfling he eventually leads you to what appears to be a fairly well used tunnel entrance. Carp makes a move to enter the tunnel and then suddenly stops. "Someone else want to lead the way?"
