"I am repaired, and Colten is looking better." Etch prods the goblin, "Take us to the leader of this place."

"Off we go, then. I don't see any reason to stay here but to endure more stench." Colten said with a grin as he pushes himself off. The stupor that he had one moment ago from head trauma seems to be gone for now, although this day was certainly not one of his proudest. When he can, he'll need to find himself a new set of fine clothes.

"Droop can take to leader. Follow Droop!" the goblin says, pushing back his long hair behind pointed ears. He leads you out of the current room back the direction that you came. He slowly peeks his head into the room where the four Redbrands were playing knucklebones and looks back at all of you. "Good work!" he says, chuckling just a bit as he gives one of the corpses a swift kick.

Exiting the room he points at the closed door on the other side of the hallway. "Glasstaff in there" he says quietly as he moves away from the door and walks up a few of the stairs to make room for the rest of you.

"Indeed." Etch replies, hefting its greatsword and stepping up to the door. Once in position, the warforged tries to open the door.

The door opens easily into a room which appears to be a wizard's workshop. A rat scurries across the floor and takes refuge under a large worktable set up with alembics, retorts, distillation coils, and other alchemical devices, all of it stewing and bubbling away. Bookshelves are crowded with sheaves of parchment and strange looking tomes.

Colten quietly enters the room and approaches the wizard's work desk. With a little hesitancy, the nobleman studies whatever the wizard was working on, hopefully to gain insight into Glasstaff's whereabouts.

As Colten studies the different fluids bubbling and boiling he comes to the conclusion that he has no idea as to what any of this stuff is actually doing. The rat that had run under the work table peeks out and quickly retreats.

Etch strides into the room and scans it for signs of the wizard's presence. Then, those looking might swear his faceplate changes shape slightly to become more snout-like as the construct sniffs the air, attempting to detect if a human not amongst this group is hiding here, or determine where from here the mage might have gone.

Etch does detect any signs of an unknown human hiding in the room, or even a hint that one may have been there recently. One thing he does notice, however, is that there isn't a strong smell of rat.
