Heron snorts, "Not funny, Styx," he does start walking toward the van though. "This should be interesting."

As you leave the place, the park's ecosystem resume its working and an other band of junkies take your place.

[ooc]We are in What I call : The montage part of the run. Like in every con movie : You prepare your plan for the run. We don't have to detail every thing and shadowrun isn't the sort of game to make random encounter roll to go from one place to an other./ooc]

Small precisions to be more efficient with your skills:
From your description you use Hot sim VR : so you gain a bonus of two dice for all your matrix action
If you don't go on an other grid you will have malus. so alittle hack on the fly on the Seattle Grid is a good idea (Transcendent grid don't last enough time.
With no difficulty at all , you find you way on the City grid. You know that if you just do research you don't have to worry about Convergence for 1 hour in the worst case.

For the Mark, you first have to find your way out of all the ad for personalized marks, A skull is a common drawing and you can easily paint a MARK Green but each time you don't see the particularity of the one you observed. After 30 minutes you don't find its owner but some of the place you visited let you think that you are not the only one to search for it. From what you gather the other one is from Detroit and he is angry...

For M. Donnel : You easily find the same visit card : it's on the ad pannel of a dozen pub. Some of the card have been vandalized : "Poor looser", "MTF", "Now seen on a shitty Renton's video". When you follow the link from the last message, you indeed find him. He played the happy dwarf in a propaganda video on the Renton's racial peace.

You could search for thes best way to advertise the party, you could search for more info about the warehouse you gonna attack, you could go do some recon on the different place

Thanks a lot, Asco. It really helps.
Homemade bookmarks the video, future link fodder the next time someone tells him that Renton's Humanis-backed districts foster a more diverse community than the barrens. That done, he tried his best to reach out to the Detroit-based decker who ran afoul of this green mark.
OOC:
I'm just going to attempt to send him an email/chat message, asking what his experience with the green skull was.

Hey sorry I was MIA for a while, I really meant to make a warning post saying I'd be on a business trip from Wednesday until now but totally blanked, I'm really sorry.
Ink takes the silver credstick from Styx and stashes it in the concealed compartment of her obvious cyber arm, the mustard yellow streetlight glow glinting off the metal armor plates. She sarcastically salutes with the robotic arm, "You got it. Give a beep if anyone needs it. I think I’ll do some in person scouting. Not too close, so don’t worry too much about me." With a wink she saunters off to her motorbike.

She leaves her "Maya Thorsen" SIN broadcasting that she’s comfortably lounging at home before taking off for Carlsberg. With the scarce information from the Johnson in mind, Ink attempts to sneak around the vicinity of the warehouse locale – not too close so the hell hounds don’t pick up her scent, but just to get some fine tuned eyes and ears on the place. Silently creeping around edges of buildings and crouching on rooftops, she scans the grounds, magnifying her vision from time to time and fine tunes her hearing. Her audio enhancement helps block out the mundane street noise of cars, sirens, and yelling. She sets her select sound filter to trigger if a nearby hellhound’s breathing pattern changes and another trigger for footsteps approaching her within several yards as she focuses in on and records the speech of the few men patrolling the area and anyone coming in and out of the warehouse, noting any talk of "beer" or "delivery."
OOC:
Just to make sure I’m getting dice rolls right, for my sneaking roll I have a 4 in agility, 1 point in sneaking with a specialization in urban (which the corebook says to add 2 dice pool bonus) and I have the cat-like quality which adds plus 2 to my dice pool modifier.

For my perception checks, I have 2 skill points in perception with a specialization in visual, and I have audio enhancement with a rating 3 audio enhancement and a rating 4 select sound filter. I didn’t know how or if my select sound filter adds anything to my roll so I did not add anything to my audio perception check for my select sound filter. I also didn't know if my visual magnification adds anything so I didn't factor that in either

Ink, if you've got the warehouse covered I'll send the twins to the drop site

You follow the lead of mayhem that the Bostonian leave behind and find him hacking CCTV cam around the SeaTac ( the biggest airport), he is not stupid enough to try directly to attack the airport. You send him a greeting and starles him, he touch something he sould'nt have and active some defense on his node. He stops his attack see you and disconnects. Not a talkative fellow...

@Ink:
The Warehouse is a 120*75 m building surround by a barbed fence. a security post serves as the only passage point. The building is mostly made of metal sheet paint with Carlsberg color.
There is not a lot of personal visible: two gard visible : one at the checkpoint and an other who patrol the exterior and inspect the different vehicule with one of the Hellhound. You have seen some worker in the warehouse but all the heavy lifting is made by drone and machine or by the troll worker. For a moment you were worry that the two flying drone patrol had see you but no , you are safe. The majority of the hell hound pack are kept in a kernel in the opposite side of the check point. A maglock kept the door close.
OOC:
I will give you a Paint made map latter.
During your watch you have seen numerous truck and van comming. They check with the guard, discuss with a manager and leave with their loads. Despite the distance you heard them talk and they seem to really transport beer and nothing more dangerous than enough alcool for a whole fraternity. You think that some of the smallest deliveries are made by drone, 3 three of them have made the travel and took a pack or two with them.
OOC:
The audio filter work against potential malus due to noise and chaos (nightclub, shooting, washing machine...).
The visual magnification allow you to have less malus when you shoot at great distance : you could shoot at long range with the medium range malus (but it doesn't change the maximum range of your weapon.

Being on the city Grid: You find your information with just a simple movement of your little finger and spend your time reading the different ad and information :
The Lincoln Plaza is not one of the biggest meeting place of the city but it's still has its event : some concert , some big product lancement and of course it's one of the place where it can go wild after a sport event.
Around the plazza you can find numerous shop like a Cap'n Beef fastfood ot more tasty place like the palazzo del gusto, a microdeck store and a Zoé shop were you can find tomorrow fashion.
Some Bigger place like a Golden Inn Lion or the GaeaTronics Energy Building and The Seattle 's Energy Departement. A lot of people travel between the two last buildings, The Firm managing the power grid.
In the Center of the plazza stands a monument for the victim of the First Crash.

Montage of Styx, in various disguises, beginning a word-of-mouth advertising campaign. She visits various bars around the stadium, and speaks briefly to people asking if they've heard anything about this party going on tomorrow night in Lincoln plaza where they're giving out free beer. She approaches it as someone who has heard a rumor, and wants to learn more, rather than someone directly advertising.

Yep, I’ve got the warehouse covered, best to keep numbers small, including tiny flying robots.

Ink scouts out the warehouse as previously described.

Warehouse doesn’t look so bad. There’s only way in and out, a security post. There’s a maglock on the door. Perimeter is surrounded by barbed wire. Only 2 guards outside – one at the post and one patrolling around who checks the vehicles coming in. The patrolling guard has a hellhound, but the most of the dogs are in a kennel opposite of the entrance. I saw two flying drones patrolling as well. Lots of drones and machines inside too to do the heavy work. I’ve been listening in for a while and it really seems like it’s a just a big booze factory here – tons and tons of beer. A lot of deliveries seem to be made by drone, especially the smaller ones. I think we can work with this.

Ink slinks down from her hidden perch, through the alleyways and back to her bike parked several blocks away to head back.

Maybe she should get some buzz going virtually on the grid too – get some rumors about a crazy party flying in the hockey fan clubs on the matrix.
Sep 21, 2016 1:47 pm
Ink, can you grab a capture of the delivery vans? Should be able to get the van to look like them if we want.

I don't have any delivery drones, but with enough Matrix magic, we could forge ID or take a couple deliveries over. Options are good.

A couple of Fly-Spys fly over the Lincoln Plaza, streaming video and pictures back to Heron's systems.

@Styx:
You post on forum and go to all the sport bar you know and talk about the big party that some group is organizing for tonight. It takes you 4 hour but the rumour's mill is updated and sing your tune. People are impatient but nobody seem to know who is behind the thing.

Your drone fly peacefully to the Lincoln Plaza : neonet seems to have done a good job : the Plazza is exactly as you have seen it in the Matrix. All the advertising screen are on the hype train for the match, and they seem to be biased againt the Vancouver's Team, of course...
Sep 21, 2016 11:53 pm
When the bars shut down I'm going to head home and get some sleep.

Adverts taken care of, chummers. What time do you want to meet to start planning? Heron, your place?
Sep 22, 2016 4:09 pm
All good
Rest of you want to check in?

Heron sits in his shop with Handi, his worker drone, removing gear from the back of the van to make room for a pallet of beer. "Looks like we won't be taking the Lynx."
