Character Creation

Working on my character today/tomorrow. I'm going back and forth between a street samurai and magic user. I'm fine with already a team and living together, even if we all have wildly different backgrounds there's always the reason of convenience for job to make a crack team.

Heads up if you're looking at Sammy, I've got a Steel Lynx with a MMG, so when the stuff gets hot, we can always use that. Also, it can load and unload from the van pretty quickly.

Ahhhh, hmm, well I'm almost finished with the street sam I was making, just picking qualities and contacts. But if everyone really wants some hocus pocus in the joint and we're packing too much steel I could try my hand at magic - it seems hella confusing haha.

To be fair, a gatling drone is not a solution to all problem, it may be the best infiltration's tactic.

If you're making a street sam, go for it, we'll just avoid jobs where we need a mage.
And yes, the drones aren't exactly sneaky (I have those too), I'll mostly leave it for when the drek hits the fan.

did we decide if the team was living together or not? i think my character would likely prefer to live alone, reclusive decker and all that.

While Heron isn't the most personable guy ever, he'd have no problem sharing space. Just don't mess with the drones in the garage. If we're looking at separate spaces, that also works.

Maybe we all have our own places, but hang out at Heron's when planning runs?

Nyssa is the new owner of one of the most famous club in seattle : The club Penumbra. Relatively new to the seattle scene, the beautiful elf made her entrance with the reopening of the Penumbra. She kept the traditional shadow part of the club and handle with her management team a dozen of shadowrunner squad. She handle job from knee breaking to corporate destabilisation. She sometimes take the scene of her club to show that management isn't her only talent. Nobody know were she found the money to finance the club.

You aren't really her close confident, she spot you at her club or an other artistic event and she remaks " I like him/her, put it on the list." and you gain prime acces to the club and a steady flow of little job : give a lesson to a dealer, take picture of a cheating husband. Nothing glamorous but it pays the bill, the big job are reserved to the more experienced team : the shadow is an ecosystem and you are far from the apex predator.

Most of the time, it's one of the bouncer or a manager that give you the instruction, some times you wonder if she stills know who you are but everybody have to begin somewhere.

Would it be alright for me to spend the 500 nuyen to set one of the seats up as troll ready in the van? Given that we've been running together for a while?

To be fair I complety forgot that troll could have problem with normal car proportion, so you can , no problem. I would say that 500 is a bit much : for this price you can have a heated seat.

That's the price listed in Rigger 5.0 (p171), though it's for drivers, either way, I'll drop the nuyen, your call
