[RECRUITMENT] Nezzeraj's Yearly Halloween Game!

It's that time of year again! I didn't want to break tradition so I will be indeed running my yearly Halloween game this year! I have chosen a more conventional game this year, but it should still be a lot of fun!

The Game
I'll be running a Call of Cthulhu 7e adventure called "The House of Memphis"! You will play characters investigating the disappearance of famed stage magician Memphis the Great in 1927 Boston. It is like Cthulhu meets The Prestige meets House on Haunted Hill.


The Details
I'll be taking 5 players. Pre-gens will be provided or you can make your own. Posting rate will be 1/day and the game will probably run about 2 months or less, hopefully ending right around Halloween. I'll keep recruitment open through the weekend and we'll start Monday, Oct 2. If you're interested leave a comment below.

Interested! Although a warning, this would be my first ever CoC (I have the rules PDF but never played it), and only my second-ever PbP/GamersPlane game (I *just* started my first one) so totally understand if you'd rather play with people with more experience.

Interested as well, but like BeardHare, I'm new to Call of Cthulhu. At the very least I'd love to read along because the (in)famous nezzeraj Halloween games always seem fun.

I don't mind new players, its always fun to introduce people to games!

Sounds great, I haven't played 7e, but I've gone insane in at least 5 other versions of Cthulhu...

I'd be interested if there was a spot available? I have played a few CoC games, including the 7e version.

Any constraints or guidlines for character creation if I don't go with a pregen? (was thinking it could help me get into the system a bit if I put a character together)

I'm interested. CoC is my preferred system/setting and I also like to play pregen characters.

Anyone that would be involved with looking into the disappearance of the magician or the deaths that happened at his house a few days before the adventure starts. Suggestions are private eye, police officer, any criminal profession, insurance agent, occultist, or any profession from high society in Boston. Anything works really if your background could be a family friend or former associate of the magician or his daughter.

I've got a private eye that survived one of Knifesedgegames' one shots, but it looks like you've got your five.

Sweet. Based on the stats I rolled, am building an actor/MC who would have worked on events the magician would have been part of. And if I don't play in this game, I'll have him (Barrington Van Ness - yes, got a name already heh) for another CoC game sometime :)
