New to Gamer's Plane

35+ year rpg veteran here (though only as a player...Ive tried the GMing thing just enough to develop a true heartfelt respect for those who take to it)...over the last decade my online roleplaying has been primarily on RPOL, but decided to branch out and try something new.

I have a game or too I'd love to find a GM for...so fingers crossed.

Currently 5e is my primary interest with 3.0/3.5 as a close 2nd. I have the Wheel of Time game book so would love to use it again.

I have a 5e gestalt game I'll be seeking a GM for...and much of the frame work for the game world (less the actual campaign itself) is already created. I was playing around with ChatGPT and asked it to generate a 5e campaign idea for students going to a school of wizardry.

I liked the reaponse so much I'm going to see if I can find a GM for it. Unlike Harry Potter, the school has 6 Houses...one representing each of the attributes in DnD 5e.

Anyway, I digress!

Welcome Sardis! I love the idea of magic schools, and have run a fun one using L5R 4e, and started one using Changeling: The Lost. Definitely a setup with great potential for drama.

Pretty slow...mostly why I've come in search of a hopefully more active place to play.

GamersPlane, like every site, has its busy times and less busy times but overall I think GP has been more active this. I remember RPoL being. The community is much, much better and the GP Discord is a really nice added element.
