5. The Wood of Sharp Teeth
She nods at Ida's instructions, then looks to Stella. "Ready, sister-girl? What's the quickest way in, according to your bird?"
As Ida starts her outburst, Stella shushes her and pulls her further away from the camp. "Shhhh!! My magic can dampen light and sound, but not completely."
Sicked by Dieter's display, she gestures to the body. "Be careful not to leave a blood trail..."
Stella confirms the last few details of the plan with the group. (Where the corpse is going, who's planting it, where the fire is going, who's setting it and when, etc.)
It doesn't take long for a handful of Blacktalons to come to the stream for a drink. Upon finding one the slaughtered bandit, they immediately take up a cry of alarm. As mercenaries of all types arrive on the scene, one of the Blacktalons holds up the torn Chill badge and shouts accusations at the hobgoblins.
The raw hostility in the camp is building to a head, with drawn weapons and heated words. Even Taurgosz and Ardenor Crush are shouting into each other's faces. The slightest spark (perhaps even literal) will start a fight that can't be ended without bloodshed!

Upon seeing his own tent burning, the hobgoblin leader has had enough. "Slay these fools!"
Taurgosz responds in kind. "Let 'em have it, boys!"
And just like that, the camp becomes a raging battlefield.
Tazok's fury rages unnoticed in the heat of battle. Trying again, the half-ogre skewers the nearest bandit on his sword, then spits on the corpse as it slides off his weapon. Still nobody seems to care. Unused to being ignored, Tazok sticks his head back into his tent for a moment, speaks for a moment, and then charges across the campground, taking out his frustrations on anyone within reach of his blade.

"Is that...? Stella?! You found me!" He's dirty and bruised, but Stella's never seen Aldous look happier.
Without a word, she strides over and places her crystaline starcane focus around Aldous' neck, then cuts the two men's bonds with a knife and starts to perform some quick herb-assisted healing on any cuts, bruises, or broken bones she sees on them while Aiwë handles the guard.
