Caught off guards SheK takes a quick backstep as she was moving to aid 37 in cleaning way stuff. "Really need to warn us when you are going to do that."

The chests open without issue.
In the first chest, Vice finds a miscellaneous collection of trinkets, rings, pendants, daggers, etcetera. They appear to come from various cultures and nations throughout Khorvaire. He also finds a book called "Book of the Raven" and a collection of coins equivalent to twelve hundred gold pieces.
In 37’s chamber, the chest holds a more private collection. He finds a carefully wrapped, mandolin. It is very old, worn worn, yet obviously well cared for. A set of simple women’s garments, a set of Tinker’s tools and a pouch that holds a few sheets of music.

As SheK strums the mandolin, the notes fill the chamber with a hauntingly beautiful sound. 37 and Vice can’t help but feel transfixed by its music for the briefest of moments. They quickly shake off the feeling.
Distracted by the music, 37 can’t quite put his finger on why the various trinkets seem out of place.

"It may have some effects about it. Hard to say. But it would be interesting to learn to play. And there is sheet music too. " Obviously SheK doesn't know how to play a mandolin or really any other musical instrument. She is toying with some to see what sounds it makes. Seems her current attention lays there.

Carving them out of the gnarled, dark bark of the Svalich Woods, these Mandolins are the favored instrument of Vistani Bards. The strings let out a haunting yet enchanting reveberation with every strum and pluck.
As with their curses, the rhyming lyrics of Vistani songs are ladened with magic. You gain knowledge of the following Vistani Folk Songs that you can sing once per long rest

You can use your action to play (or continue playing) a Vistani Folk Song for up to five rounds. Each creature in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on you must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the affected are subject to the magic of the song. Allies have advantage to a particular song after hearing it once. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this spell.
The Song of the Caravan - You sing the song of nomadic wanderlust. The affected uncontrolably sway and dance to the music. Their movement speed is halved and they have disadvantage on attack rolls until their next turn.
The Song of Unrequited Love - You sing a heart-wrenching song of a love not reciprocated. The affected momentarily forget what they're doing and begin to uncontrollably sob.
They are stunned till their next turn.
The Song of the Dark Prince - You sing the familiar grim tale of a brave warrior-prince turned oppressive ruler-of-the-land. The affected recoil at the mention of the prince's name - Strahd. They are frightened till their next turn.
The Song of Lands Unvisited - You sing a song of longing for a land you have dreamt to visit. The affected's mind drifts off to said land, granting advantage on attack rolls against them.
The Song of the Evil Eye - You sing a song of spiteful jealousy and seething hatred. The affected's luck is hampered, suffering -3 to their next attack roll and an extra 1d4 damage the next time they are damaged.

The trio makes their way back out of the darkened catacombs, leaving the dusty remains of Kassel unceremoniously on the floor.
They pass the crushed, broken, sometimes charred remains of the many skeletons they encountered. The scent of acrid smoke wafts through the still air. Taking in the fallen, it dawns on Vice that the trinkets may in fact be trophies of the poor souls Kassel had trapped in this crypt.
As they pass the chamber area containing the cauldron, they discover several large feathers laying around. A trail of feathery down, leads out the final hall and up the spiraling staircase. Quite unlike the brown feathers of your newest companion, these feathers appear grey and tattered.

As they exit, Vice says "Ok, we can put all this stuff with the loot from the Titaness, and have Belaluur give us a quote. Then we better visit Mother Jahanh, although I don't know how happy she'll to be to se us, and ask for healing. We can also ask Famul to finish clearing out the rest of the basement. Little guys seems like like keeping busy. Am I forgetting anything? Oh, are we still doing that job for Kalli?"
